I know it’s only my first check in here, but I’ve been coming here before I could remember. I come here once a week at least and I don’t even live within 10 miles.

Old school and always dependable. Pizza is excellent and the service is very efficient. They keep it very real and I prefer them to any other pizza in Wantagh.

Great old school pizzeria. They have a limited menu which is refreshing because they seem to have perfected every item on it. Nothing fancy just good food. Their pies have a thin crispy crust and the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. They also have amazing meatballs. Their chicken parm is always tender. I work in the area and have been here numerous times. Haven’t been disappointed yet :)

This place brings back all the memories of my childhood. This is the only place my family would go to since 1985. We moved away and when I come to visit I always bring home a pizza… to me it doesn’t get better than Prince Umberto’s. I remember playing the Super Mario arcade game while waiting to pick-up a pie with my dad all through my childhood.

Long Island– Otherwise known as the land of Pizza. So many places, so many sub-par slices. In the 5 years I’ve lived in the area, I never went to Prince Umberto’s. A few weeks ago I didn’t have a car so I went walking to find some grub and figured since I was trekking my bum 4 miles(round trip), I could chow down on some unhealthy, cheesy, bready goodness. The menu doesn’t have the bells and whistles of today’s pizzerias. Just your basic, old school slices, calzones, rolls and such. I ordered a regular slice($ 2.50) and a broccoli spinach pinwheel with sauce on the side($ 1.50). It was the pizza of my childhood… crunchy crust and a well balanced ratio of sauce(the best I’ve had in the area!) & cheese. The pinwheel was STUFFED with melty cheese, tons of veggies and the center was the pinnacle of pinwheels. Slightly doughy(but not undercooked), cheesy, truly the«sweet spot».

4.75 lunch special: 2 slices and a Coke. Great value. Good Pizza, my slices. 1 was over cooked and a bit burnt tasting. The other was crisp and on the money. a thin sauce that compliments the cheese. I can see this place putting out an amazing pie.

The Prince has some of the best slices on Long Island! I only order pizza from here and you will not be disappointed. Not a big area for dining as this is more of a takeout place, but they do have half a dozen booths where you can grab a slice for a quick meal. The adjacent ice cream parlor is also a nice place to grab a cone or sundae too!
