Epic gyros at a really great price. Staff is friendly and service is quick — very glad that I live only a few blocks away from here!

Well the store front is a dump, but that doesn’t bother me at all. Kind of seemed like a fast food greek restaurant. I got the chicken gyro platter. I was expecting a gyro. Instead, I got a plate full of shaved chicken and fries. Also included in the bag was a container with lettuce tomatoes and onions. There was no pita. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize until after I brought the food back to my home. I called Pita Lovers to inform them that they had screwed up and their response was«Sorry.» They wouldn’t bring the pita to my home and I certainly wasn’t going to go back to pick it up. I just found it funny that the place is called PITA Lovers and they forgot the PITA. The fries were great, the chicken was not. I would not get food from this place again. Look elsewhere for solid greek food.

I liked it, my family didn’t like it as much as I did, and i understand why. The Falafel was gritty(yes, sand/dirt with each bite). My food was good(souvlaki with rice), but I guess that isn’t saying too much. I may stop in for a Gyro someday(I got that as well one time and it was ok), but my family wrote em’ off, so we probably wont be back.

Great place! Personally, I love their broccoli cheddar soup. And, fast delivery is always a plus when you have company over.

Love their chicken Caesar salad wrap & their fries are amazing. However the burgers and motzorella sticks are terrible! They’re fair priced which is great & deliver quickly.

Every order is an adventure. You never know what you’re gonna get. It could be just fine. It could suck. You just never know.

I had the Farlafel with feta cheese. Followed by cheese cake washed down with cherry coke.

A good deal. That how we felt when we finished our meal. For under 20 bucks we got an overstuffed classic gyro, a huge apollo panini(stuffed with grilled veggies and grilled chicken w/balsamic) two orders of fries and two drinks. Food was very good… not the best gyro I ever ate but very good none the less. We’d return. Place was empty during our visit which was kinda sad being they offer good food at low prices. They deserve more customers. Place is kinda small and they probably do mostly take out & delivery. I could live without the rap music blasting from the speakers but with the cashier & cook bouncing their heads around why should I act the fool, yo. Fo real.

If you’re eating your food in the store, you might be okay. However I tried ordering food for delivery from this place and they took over an hour and a half to get to my house. I live less than half a mile away. I was told the food would be at my house in 45 minutes. I called at an hour and they told me that my food was ALMOST ready. It hadn’t even left the store. They offered no discount on the food and were unapologetic. I would never order food from this place again. Although I do admit, when it arrived, it tasted good.

My husband, my daughter and myself went for lunch and had falafel. It was way fried and no taste. All they added on top was shredded lettuce and a drop of tahini. We also had fries, which weren’t bad. The service was ok. We all had indigestion and would never go back. We have falafel all the time, but this was the worst.

Started off strong but quickly dipped. Gyros used to be fuller(IMO). Last time I was still hungry. I also tried the zeus wrap and was not impressed. My favorite gyro spot is still Grecian grill in Farmingdale.

Pita Lovers is a fast, friendly, clean, and quality place to eat. They offer various items from a classic Gyro to a Louisiana Panini which is something you cannot find any place else. I eat here most of the time because it is the healthiest, quickest food you can get at a good price. The offer many deals for students and even the meals they offer will give you a nice sandwich, fries, and drinks that you can refill yourself. I never had a problem here in over 20 visits for the past 2 years. The kind staff would not have a problem making a sandwich over if there was a reason you didn’t like it. I recommend this to all my friends and all of them like it so I recommend this to everyone who reads this review. Enjoy!

For quick eats, I give a thumbs up to pita lovers. As many thumbs as small army, like the size of Belgium’s military. The manager here is extremely cool and has his minions make me what I want, fast. I typically order: — Veggieburger on a whole wheat pita with cheese, no onions — Falafel on a whole wheat pita, light sauce. — Chicken gyro on a whole what pita, light sauce, no onions, extra delicious please! My boyfriend, who’s 10x the carnivore I am, loves the Zeus. What a big, manly sandwich that is. Grrrr! It’s the lunch time version of the hungry man. Avoid the fries, if you like your current weight and love all things crispy(like me). You’ll inhale them in 3 minutes. They have a sister store less than 4 miles away off hempstead turnpike in east meadow. Same food, just 15% more visually appealing on the inside and in the middle of a shopping center. Punch card AND discounts for students and teachers available.
