Sandra and her staff are incredibly professional, organized, and available — particularly when planning services for a wedding party. I was consistently impressed by their flexibility and willingness to meet the needs of our group, as they approached each interaction positively, and always responded to calls/​emails immediately. Incredible customer service!

Sandra, the salon owner, is my stylist. She is kind, professional and takes the time to make sure that you achieve the results you are looking for. I recieved several compliments on my hair following my last visit.

Sandra is a lifesaver! After having a terrible experience at a different salon and getting an absolutely dreadful cut and color I called Sandra in a panic and she was able to get me in next day.
When I came in to Sapphire I was warmly greeted right away and Sandra spent a good amount of time listening to exactly what I wanted, looking at the pictures I’d show the other stylist at the other salon of the style I liked, and figuring out a good plan on how to fix this. She is so sweet, understanding and patient.
She took so much time and care to make me feel comfortable and confident again. Her skill set is incredible. The before and after results were so dramatic I feel like a different person. I cannot recommend her and her wonderful staff and business enough. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

After my first not-​so-​great experience, the salon owner went out of her way to make things right, even offering to recut my hair herself. I really appreciate that she followed up with me and addressed my concerns. I haven’t gone back in, so I can’t really update my previous review, but I wanted to thank the owner and note how considerate and professional she has been.

I was expecting to pay $ 80 for my cut and color. Instead, it was $ 107 and $ 127 with tip. Why? I’m guessing because Dawn said she put a glaze in… of course without asking or saying that it would be extra. Now, I don’t mind the extra $ for a great cut and color, but what I got was so far from that. I walked-​out looking as if I’d taken a shower and let my hair air dry. The color wasn’t bad, but wasn’t perfect either, but the last thing I wanted to do was go home and style my hair myself, which is exactly what I had to do! Never. EVER. again.

Dawn is awesome. She does great hair blow outs, cuts and foils. I highly recommend the salon, especially Dawn. Everyone is laid back but professional.

I have been getting my dark brown hair colored blonde for as long as I can remember and am quite picky about the light blonde, non-​brassy color I want. Not being local to the area I went to Sapphire and saw Christine (Tina) and explained what I was looking for. Well she went above and beyond and gave me the exact natural looking blonde color I wanted, and I couldnt be happier. She was meticulous in detatil, and used foils to high and low light my hair, giving it the perfect blend. I see her regularly now and would never go anywhere else. Tina is super nice and made my whole experience at Sapphire amazing! Highly recommend!

I got my hair cut and colored at Sapphire last week and I have honestly never had a better haircut in my entire life. Crystal is a magician and cut my curly, frizzy hair in such a way that even I can blow-​dry it myself and it look great. Since winter is coming, that is very important! No one like icicle hair.
Crystal is a fantastic stylist and I highly recommend seeing her! The salon itself is very nicely decorated and clean. Though I haven’t tried any of the other services, I will be!
Sapphire Salon is a great neighborhood salon and I’m happy to say I will be a repeat customer :)

If you are looking for someplace new that you can trust completely with your hair, try Sapphire! I have trusted Sandra, who is also the owner, with my highlights and haircuts for many many years, and have never been disappointed. She is not the type to cut first and ask questions later! I have recommended several friends to her, and they go there regularly now. The other stylists are excellent, too.
Location is great, right on the Watertown-​Waltham line, and plenty of parking spots, and prices are very reasonable, too. Definitely give Sapphire a try!

I’ve been going to Sapphire Salon for about 6 months or so and I’ve been very happy. Sometimes for a guy it’s intimidating going into a «salon», but I never got that once. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The prices are great and I’ve had my hair cut by more than one person there and they were all great.
Also they are very kid friendly. On more than on occasion I’ve had to bring my kids and they are great with kids and helpful as well. They even offered a piece of candy (of course asking my permission first).
It’s great to see a local establishment that is family friendly, great prices, and quick service. Give them a try, you can’t go wrong.
