J.E. Furnished Apartments of Waltham

I’m no beginner when it comes to furnished corporate housing, but J E Furnished Apartments is definitely the bottom of the barrel.
I only lived in my apartment for a week and a half, and was thankful to get out! Firstly, the office has the worst hours: 9am to 5pm weekdays, closed Saturdays and Sundays. These apartments are for us nine-​to-​fivers, so how on earth do they think we can get any help from them at all?
We had such a bad odor coming from our apartment that a maintenance man left a note at our door asking if the smell in the hall was from our apartment… and it was! But, when I’d get home from work and want to get my problem solved, the office is closed (of course)! Eventually they came one afternoon to replace our dishwasher, which was the source of the smell, but only after 6 awful days smelling stagnant, dirty dishwater.
There is only one air conditioner and it is in the living room. During the heat this summer, I ended up sleeping on the uncomfortable sofa in the living room because the heat in the bedroom was just too much to handle.
Although the parking lots got crowded very easily, it was nice to have a lot and not park on the busy, wooded street the apartments are off of.
The free wi-​fi is nice, but during peak hours (after 6pm, and on weekends) it slows down significantly, so don’t expect to be able to stream Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc.
Again, I’m glad I don’t have to live there anymore — a few of my coworkers still are, and they are not happy at all (so I know it’s not just me!).
