Came in for a passport photo and as noted by the other reviewers my experience was head and shoulders above that of a CVS or similar store. The photographer was very personable, made sure the lighting was perfect and even adjusted my shirt to get out the wrinkles.
Highly recommend !!

I found the manager Kari of Albert’s photo shop very patient with all my requests to meet the exacting regulations for an Irish passport photo. She was very knowledgeable about the requirements for passport photos for many countries because she has been in business for 35 years. She is very quick and pays attention to the detailed requirements on the passport application form. The passport photos were very good. She likes to be paid by cash or check and not credit or debit cards. She charges a very reasonable fee and I can understand her position.
I highly recommend this friendly, patient and professional photographer. The location on Moody street is easily accessible with easy free street parking. I find the negative review below beyond understanding! My experience was totally the opposite.

I hope I could give zero star. The experience with her totally ruined my day! I went to take passport pictures, she kept on telling me she had more than 30 experiences photography experiences, but all I got were 8 passport pics with bad pictures quality, each of them are cut different sizes, and with one shoulder cut off half. I told her nicely I’d like my picture with face in the middle and each pic cut in a square, she got pissed badly! She refused to give me my pictures and sent me out of store. My god! I never got served like this ever, advice to you is don’t bother go there! Ps when I was waiting for her, she was yelling at other customer on the phone too!

I was referred to Albert’s Studio after countless inquiries around the Boston area for a photographer who could take Canadian Visa photos. While the process to find a photographer was tough, Albert’s Studio made getting the photos completely pain-​free!
Kari is so personable and sweet — and she is a perfectionist! She made sure that my visa photos were exactly to Canadian specifications. The whole experience was superb and very convenient.
As a side note, Kari and I got to talking about the other work she does and I just have to mention that this woman is multi-​talented. I was blown away by her photo-​restoration and Adobe Photoshop abilities. She is a true artist in every sense of the word!

My husband went in for a passport photo and was very pleased. He said it was head and shoulders above a drug store passport photo, and at $ 12 about the same price. The photographer was very personable, making sure he had proper over and under-​lighting, and even pulled the wrinkles out of his shirt. Quick and convenient service, and very pleased with the result. Highly recommended!
