Meat House

My family and I have been going to the meathouse for a couple of years now and up until recently had loved it. They always had such tender and flavorful steak tips, until recently where we have had multiple batches of chewy, non-​tender tips. The first time we figured it may have just been the batch we got, but it has happened 2 – 3 times since. A couple of nights ago we purchased 4 hamburgers and 2 hot dogs (which we always raved about) but once we got home we quickly realized the quality on these products had declined as well. The hot dogs were slimy, had a foul odor, and dusky looking and the hamburgers shriveled up to half its size once cooked. We had never experienced such bad luck with them… Quite a disappointment. I think you could say from now on we’ll stick to the newly renovated meat section at Stop and Shop.

I am a die-​hard carnivore. LivingSocial sent me an email with the subject line of «Meat!», so of course I was intrigued. $ 15 for $ 25 worth of gourmet meat right in Walpole. What the heck, I thought. It’s on my way home anyway.
I walked into the place, and I was in heaven. I told the clerk behind the counter that I had never been there before but heard good things about their steak tips (thanks Unilocal!) and he instantly wrapped up a sample of their house-​marinaded tips for me. For free! Yes, free meat. That’s it, Meat House. You’ve got me hooked.
Regardless of the free sample waiting for me, I picked up a package of maple bourbon tips for dinner that night. Are you kidding me? These things were tender and juicy and so damn good that I shed a tear of sadness when the last tip was consumed.
Would I come here to buy dinner every day? Nope. It would shatter my food budget. But for a wonderful, marinated treat once in a while? Oh yes, I’ll be back. I’m hungry just thinking about it

My BF had a gift card for years in his wallet… we went there today to use it up and get some meat for the grill. We were both so impressed with the staff and the fabulous service. We bought some steak tips…2 diff marinades and they were so tender and flavorful with no fat whatsoever! On the recommendation of a customer we bought a bacon/​cheddar burger… and, some turkey tips marinated in a cilantro lime for tomorrow. If you are looking for friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people I highly recommend supporting this local young man. The cuts of meat are truly outstanding and pretty reasonably priced. You get what you pay for!

high quality meat… especially love the meathouse steak tips… the staff is always helpful. Everything I have had has been delicious (burgers, turkey tips, sirloin, all the various seasones steak tips) and they have the best salsa.
