The guy who runs this place is incompetent to say the least. A full wedding party shows up(in addition to other customers) and he is the only one working when he knew this was scheduled. I know this is a very small business but this is foolish and absurd. The clothes are great if you are going for that extremely baggy /I am a child wearing my father’s suit type look. I appreciate small business owners but some degree of intelligence is needed in order for the business to actually run properly and there are certainly no signs of intelligence here. Overall, save yourself the hassle and find a more legitimate place.

Great experience at this shop. I came in with my son for a tux knowing nothing about renting for a prom. They spent time with us explaining everything thing and it could not have been a quicker, smoother, experience. What really amazed me, was that, even with the extra attention they give to customers, it was still over $ 50 cheaper than what his friend got at one of the chains. Run like a true, family business where they actually care about the customer. The tux looked great on him and with just the right colored tie to match his dates dress. My son is only a Junior and by other son a freshman. They have gained a repeat customer for the next several years.

Best Maui Jim sunglasses! One would not think of a tuxedo shop to buy a pair of glasses in, but I was nicely surprised. They had dozens of styles to choose from and we got service that you wont’ find at a sunglasses hut. The guy that helped us was actually the owner of the place. You could see that he had been doing it for some time and seemed knowledgeable about what makes Maui Jim so much better than the other, less expensive styles. I had no idea that the polarized lenses Maui puts in all of their glasses were patented and not available with any other brand. Makes putting up a hundred and a half a bit easier to take when you know you are getting something special that will actually benefit your vision. Can’t put a price on that. Even though we purchased them in the Summer and the place was busy, we were able to zip right through at checkout. I have had experiences at other places where I had to wait just to see the glasses and then call over help each time I wanted to see another pair. Forget that. I would go back again for another pair when these wear out in a few years.

John is the best. He really knows his business. The tuxedos are good quality and he is terrific at putting together whatever look you want. I am a man who needed a tuxedo at the last minute for an event. John had me fitted in just what I wanted in about fifteen minutes, black tux, red vest and black silk bow tie. I will recommend this business to anyone.

When we first went to pick out rental suits for our groomsmen, my husband and I thought this place seemed great. The woman who helped us(I can’t remember her name, but I’m pretty sure she’s the only female employee) was very nice and helpful. However, thereafter I only worked with the owner, John. All but one of our groomsmen were out of state and had to call in their measurements. He was extremely rude to my brother on the phone when he called, telling him the tailor he visited didn’t know what he was doing and that the measurements were«wrong.» He told him that my brother was wasting both his own and John’s time, which was not called for. My brother doesn’t get worked up easily, but he was really offended, so I know my brother was not exaggerating. I understand that John was worried about all of the men fitting well into their suits, but he could have said«I’m worried that the suit won’t fit correctly» without sounding condescending. While John was courteous to me, he was not professional when speaking with my brother. To top things off, John ordered tuxes instead of suits(which he admitted was his own fault), and then proceeded to try to convince me why I should use tuxes instead of suits. Our wedding was small and only semi-formal, and if I hadn’t called him asking why he used the word«tux» in an email(less than 2 weeks before the wedding), I’m not sure what would have happened. John did get all the correct suits very quickly, which is why this business is not getting only one star. The men all looked great in the end, but it was a lot of stress to get to that point. I would not recommend this place, especially if your groomsmen live out of state.

I was coming from out of state for a wedding, and dealt with the owner, John. When I called in measurements, he was extremely hard to deal with and often rude. He could not figure out my jacket size from measurements of my chest, overarm, inseam, neck, etc done at a tailor. I had to go get measured AGAIN at a different place. So I gave him my jacket size, 38 regular. When I get to site of the wedding, the father of groom had picked the suits up, and my jacket was 38LONG. It was too late to fix his mistake, so my sleeves were down to my damn knuckles during the wedding. Grrrr… Would NOT recommend this place. If the owner doesn’t know what he’s doing, it’s for sure a place to avoid.
