I’ve been here a few times and everything is pretty good. This review however is based on take out. Just ordered two burgers and a waffle with whipped cream. The order got home with no whipped cream on the waffle, no syrup, no condiments for the burgers and no silverware or napkins. Was told I could come back, but it’s not convenient for me to travel back. Needless to say I will not be ordering again, as I spent 35 $ on food I won’t eat.

Bristol Square is a great place for breakfasts, late breakfasts, and lunch. You never have to wait for a table. The service is ok, but the food is quick. Their egg dishes and waffles and pancakes are all great, also their variety of benedicts.

Typical greasy spoon. A local favorite that does good breakfast! Easy parking makes this place a great spot for a nice weekend breakfast. My personal favorite is the Sausage Benedict with hollandaise sauce. They have great home fries and yummy pancakes. There menu has something for everyone.

ok I would like to start off by saying I did not have their breakfast, which they are allegedly known for. I ordered a Buff. Chicken Cesar salad. I was expecting to have a Cesar salad with buff. chicken. I asked for a small side of ranch to dip the buff chicken in. I receive the salad and chicken in different containers with only ranch dressing. I was a little disappointed. I will say the chicken was amazing but the salad was pretty bad. If i ever go back there i will only order the chicken without the salad and save my self the $ 11.00…

Bristol Square is the epitome of a small town breakfast place. It is quaint and homey and you cannot go there without running into someone you know. The food is delicious, and you receive a huge meal for very low prices. The wait staff is very nice and all around you just feel very comfortable while you’re there, due to the laid back feel that Bristol gives off. I would recommend this restaurant to ANYONE, because it is truly one of the greatest local establishments in Walpole.

I come to this place every so often for breakfast and am usually satisfied. However, I stopped in two weeks while I was on vacation and was so disappointed I may not be returning. I ordered an egg white cheese omelet with fruit and a bagel. The omelet was by far the WORST I have ever had. The fruit was wilted and mushy. The bagel which I asked to be grilled, was so soggy and thin I could fold each piece in half and wondered if it even was a bagel. My friend ordered pancakes which were not cooked all the way through(batter in the middle) so that he couldn’t finish them. Maybe the cooks were having a better day, I don’t know, but with this kind of food customers won’t come back.

I like everything I have had here, though I have to say the buffalo tenders are INCREDIBLE! This is what me and my husband come here for. They really are worth the trip!

I am personally a huge fan of Bristol Square Café! The coffee is always good, better than the usual ‘diner’ coffee you can get at other breakfast joints. The food has always been so great! I am a huge fan of the omelets, they are always cooked just right and the filling inside(what ever your choice of filling may be) is always cooked too! I have found that some places do not cook the vegetables enough and it ruins the experience of the omelet… you will not have this problem at Bristol Square. The pancakes, waffles and french toast are also a great choice. If I had to choose one of the three I would go with the pancakes. They are a great size and are not too heavy, but are just right. I find the french toast to be just average, nothing too special. The waffles are also a great choice, and choose to add fruit topping! If you are asked to have fruit as a side DONOTGETIT! I find the fruit to never be fresh and it seems like it came from a can. Stick to the meats and home fries when deciding on your side at Bristol Square. The home fries are GREAT! The service is also impressive here. Do not go on a Sunday morning because it is always extremely busy and you will be wait ing for a table and your food. I found Saturday was always a good time to go. When you walk in you are immediately hit with the charm of a small town café. You will not be disappointed here at Bristol Square!

This morning, a very crisp and cool september morning, I had a craving to go out to breakfast. The wife did not want to go, but I would not be denied this morning of sitting down to a breakfast joint and tearing into some eggs and what not. I didnt want to drive too far, so I hit this place called the Bristol Square Café in Walpole, Just a few miles away. I knew they had breakfast here as I had eaten there back in the 90’s. It was about 7:15 or so and there were just a few people in there — nice and quiet. They are located in a little strip mall next to a Dedham Savings Bank. The service was attentive, I had my coffee to me in seconds. On to the menu, pretty loaded with all kinds of options. I went for the«Western Skillet.» It came with eggs on top of the potatoes with melted cheese, onions and peppers, served up in a ceramic cassarole dish, and some toast. Food quality not bad, I wish I got something different though, it just wasnt quite what I craved. I should have got eggs over easy with hash, that’s what I really wanted. Anywho, all said and done I left a decent portion of the large cut potatoes on my plate with 2 pieces of toast — because too much carb messes with me. Here is where I am trying to get to — the tab on that was $ 11.29! What, this doesnt include the coffee? I felt like I’d been had, taken to the cleaners. Leaving a 2.00 tip on top of that was tough. Alltogether for a little eggs and homefries and coffee — $ 13.29!!! Ouch!!! Never again. Waitstaff was friendly, food quality not bad, just expect to dump a bus load of cash for a breakfast you can get at any greesy spoon for 5 bucks less per person. I just felt like I got walloped. Learning lesson for sure — Pauly, Out.

Maybe I ordered wrong, but I am telling you this place is not for me. ordered French toast and it was dry even though I soaked it in maple syrup, no confectionary sugar on it, no fruit as a garnish on plate. Wow they just mailed it in. Waitress was very nice but she never came back to see how my meal was she just sat at the counter with two other waitresses. There were only two tables in the restauraunt me and another couple. Ran it by a friend of mine later and he said«No that place has gone down hill.»

anyone who knows me at all knows i need to eat immediately upon waking. when i’m ripped from a peaceful slumber by the sounds of my stomach trying to devour itself, you best have a solution ready. bristol square is that solution in suburban massachusetts. i went twice this weekend. that’s how much i enjoyed their breakfast. it hit the spot(twice! ooo) and is not confined to socially accepted breakfast hours. the menu has all the a.m. standards, many upgraded from the stock model. friday morning i had blueberry stuffed french toast — fat slices of french baguette, stuffed with blueberry cream cheese and with whipped cream and more blueberries thrown on top. my boyfriend had some kind of new england lumberjack breakfast — eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries, et cetera — that was too big to finish. on sunday i had a popeye(like the sailor man) benedict, with spinach and tomato, and he had more sausage and sunny-side-up eggs. we wished the home fries were a little crispier. i still ate them. i can’t speak to any of the other foods, but i also don’t care. i really love breakfast. it was pretty empty on friday morning, and unreasonably packed on sunday, but the service was consistently good both times. plus a star for making ICED coffee, which saves me a run to dunkin donuts and the subsequential wallet-leaching and self-loathing that always ensues.

This place has a really great menu for both lunch and dinner. The service is hit or miss — sometimes the couldn’t care less teenager, sometimes the attentive 40 something waitress. The food is very good. My eggs benedict was very salty on my last visit — but I am very sensitive to salt. They have a great portabella mushroom and spinach sandwich, my fave! The booths are terribly uncomfortable. The table is not at the correct height for where it should be… very low. actually — i think it’s the booths. the booths are too high?

Very nice place for lunch in Walpole. I love going here for a quick lunch. The place is never that crowded for lunch(at least at 12:30). They have a huge menu and lots of selection. Today I had the bagel, egg, and cheese with homefries($ 4.95). My boyfriend got the clam strip platter($ 7.95). It came out ridiculously fast and everything was good. The onion rings with the platter were thin and crispy. The homefries were just spicy enough and the sandwich was perfect. I really need to try their pancakes or french toast because they have so many awesome choices! It was super clean(spotless) and the waitresses are always really friendly. It is in a strip mall but the place is big enough to accommodate the crowds which is always appreciated.

It’s a little difficult to believe that a great breakfast place exist in a office building strip mall in Walpole, but it’s true and I am very excited to expand my breakfast list. It’s not a diner, but it’s got all of the great character and characters of a diner. The waitress was extremely nice and cheerful a pack house at 7:30 am.(The townies eat early) The special are posted out front one like dessert, one lite and healthy, and one for a lumberjack. Today was Reese’s Pancakes,(Why hasn’t anyone else thought of this?), Tomato and Spinach(T.S.) Eggs Benedict, and 3 little pigs in a blanket(3 three pancakes wrapped around three sausages sleeping on pillows of homefries, AWESOME!!! I wasn’t feeling too adventurous so I stuck with the house special, Triple berry stuffed french toast. 5 star on the f. toast: Fresh blueberries, preserved strawberries & cranberries, stuffed with a light cream cheese. Everything was perfect. My dining companions were on the opposite sides of the spectrum of the food universe. Ones trying to get into her bathing suit so she had the T.S. eggs Benedict. She said it lacked some salt, but it’s always better to be able to add instead of sending it back, besides salt retains water =P My brother had the 3 pigs, he’s 6’2210 lbs and even he as stuffed, like my french toast. The country fries were large chucks of red bliss potatoes, a little salty but perfectly crisp. The prices were fair, 30 bucks including a 20% tip… Marge you’re wicked awesome. The only reason I gave them 4 stars… Coffee lacked the robust flavor one needs for the first cup of Joe. A definite return or a stop on my way to Wrentham Outlet Mall.
