Best place to get your car worked on at a great rate. My family and I have been going to Marlon since he opened first open his business & continued going even after he moved to a new location. What I like about this place is that Marlon and his workers will not try to lie about problems with your car in order to make money off of you. He isn’t greedy and doesn’t charge over the top rates, I suggest coming here, if you don’t want to be fooled by many mechanics,
especially if you are a female who doesn’t know a lot about cars.

My New Shop.
I own a 2006 Nissan 350z and I do not let just any ASE certified mechanic or tech touch my car unless they know exactly what they are working with.
After hearing that a buddy of mine goes S and M Automotive Specialist I decided to give them a try.
I went in to have them change my rotors and brake pads. I upgraded to Akebono pads and Drilled and Slotted Rotors.
The quality they put into every job is amazing. Never have I seen a garage work on a car, yet alone EVERY car like they own it.
What really caught my attention and made me a happy customer was how he took my lug nuts off and on. He sees I have expensive aftermarket steel red lug nuts so he loosens and tightens by hand, making sure the paint does not chip.
They finished my car in no time.
Fastest, coolest, most knowledgeable mechanics I’ve encountered. This is my new shop and I will refer everyone I know to them. Thanks for taking great care of my z and gaining a loyal customer that left happy.

I am so grateful to Marlon and his shop! He is knowledgable and genuinely cares about helping you figure out the best solution for your car. He helped me figure out a P0300 random misfire code for my 02 Miata and even said he would help walk me through it if I wanted to do it on my own since it is a simple job. He is great and I really appreciate his advice and keeping my wallet in check. I’ve recommended him to my friends already and want to recommend him here. I will be returning to Marlon for the future!

S and M is one of the best shops around! They are very knowledgeable when it comes to parts and they are very friendly especially Marlon. Definitely a place to go, good prices, any questions you have they have the answer. ⁵⁄₅!

I’ve been here twice with my 2010 Lexus ISC once for front and back brakes and once for an oil change. Great work, prices are very reasonable, and great customer service. If an appointment is made you’re not going to have to wait very long. There’s only two places I will bring my baby, either to Marlon at S and M or to the dealer. But based in the prices and wait time, I’d much rather bring it to S and M.

Came here to get my car fixed and was impressed how good of a job that was done to my vehicle. Not only my car was serviced they also cleaned up my engine making it look brand new. Prices are good and mechanic’s are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend going here, they’ll take care of you and your car.

I’ve been taking my car to Marlon’s shop since last year at the recommendation of a co-​worker. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed with his auto maintenance service as he produces quality work. He performed many services to my Lexus IS250 such as standard oil changes and my 90K miles service last June. My car recently passed the 100K mile mark and it still runs excellent. Marlon and his staff are knowledgeable and trustworthy. You know the job will be well done. Very reasonable prices for the work that is performed. Save your $$$ by not paying more at a dealership for the same type of quality work. Make an appointment and ask how long it will take. They’ll be honest with you and plan accordingly. I’ve recommended friends and family since and they too have not been disappointed with the service their vehicles have obtained. Oh, that reminds me… I need to schedule an appointment soon for that 100K mile service.

We have been going to Marlon for 10+ years. The shop had moved a few times, and we followed him to the new location every single time.
Marlon is very honest and always lets us know what he is doing or going to do with our cars. We love the fact that he always has options for us and helps us prioritize the repair/​service if we can’t get everything done at once. He thoroughly explains his work and shows us what he did so we can see «before and after».
Also, best price for the excellent service & material. I had my tires changed one time at Marlon’s shop, and the tire guy at Costco Tires asked me where I got them and how much (when I was getting my free air-​check). I told him the price and he couldn’t believe me. Marlon is like a family friend now since he knows all my cars and my family. You can’t go wrong with Marlon!

I was referred here by one of my good friends for some tuning and maintenance on my 2008 Acura TL-​S. I got my suspension purchased and installed in the time frame that they gave me which was pretty awesome. I decided to come back here for some brake work, but because I’m so busy with my work schedule, I decided to call them and schedule a time I can come in on my only day off. I came in on the day and time as I requested and they were ready for me.
Great customer service and they will be honest with what work needs to be done. Come in and see for yourself!

This shop is legit. I’ve been coming here since i’ve had my first car. They’re nice guys. I always come to their shop just to ask questions. Also, my dad has been coming here because he likes the service and the worked done.

I’ve been going here for a couple years now. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but Marlon and the crew have proven to be honest people. I’ll definitely keep going here for my regular oil changes and any other problems with my car.

I’ve been coming to Marlon for years. Great prices, quick & honest service. He can handle most if not all challenges presented to him. All my cars present and past have been and are serviced by him and his crew. I even recommend him to anyone who has serious automotive issues… my Dad goes to Marlon as as well!!!
I’m not sure why people are slamming him and his shop here, but more than likely, they’re just cheap, and want stuff for free… nothings free people… as long as I’ve known him, his prices are more than fair, sometimes down right cheap leaving me to wonder how he survives! I end up giving him more than what his invoices say sometimes b/​c I know he’s not charging me enough…

not sure about all the negative reviews here, but Marlon and his crew are legit. heck, my whole family drives out from Carson /​Long Beach area to get their cars serviced by Marlon and his crew at S&M — so this should say a whole lot about the quality of service.

I’ll keep this short, Marlon is professional and reliable. Make sure you tell him what’s wrong with your car and he would work on it.

Referred by my friend here. The place is ok. Owner wasn’t ethical with how things should go. I need to get the control arm and ball joints replaced. He gave me a huge price in which i think was not reasonable. I asked how much if i just have the control arm will cost and how long. He gave me the price and i said ok. Then all of a sudden he was preparing my car to get repair and i told him i didnt even say that i wanted it fix today. And he just walked away. And they have a lot of cars that looked like its been abandoned for months at their place.
