I LOVE this class!!! Its amazing we are learning so many dances and the teachers are so understanding. We are a family here at rising stars.

Our son started piano lessons with Ms. Aurora for a few months now and have seen his playing progress weekly. Rising Star definitely teach a good foundation that kids can easily comprehend and follow. As we wait for Lance during his piano session, also observe the Glee class and all the kids seems to have such fun dancing and singing. It’s definitely a environment for learning. We definitely recommend this studio.

Yes, I am a product of Ms. Aurora’s musical guidance as a young child/​adolescent growing up in West Covina. For 10 memorable years I took piano, singing and folk dance lessons which I enjoyed so much! She and her talented team have instilled in me the value of music as it led me to succeed in various aspects of my life as a musician, singer and dancer many years after being a student of hers. I was exposed to various genres of music from classical to folk to contemporary all of which further gave me the tools to create my own music as an adult. I have many fond memories with my mentor as she provided me the opportunities to grow from a shy child to someone who enjoys performing in front of others. I was and am still inspired by her compassion for others and extreme patience and care for me as a budding artist. Please consider coming here not just to hone your musical skills but to be a part of the family I have grown up with through the years. You will no doubt become a «triple threat» once you join! :)

«Ms. Aurora» was our music teacher and my piano teacher in elementary school. She was professional, encouraging, and patient. Thought it was many years ago, I only have fond memories of learning from her and from Ms. Babes Fortich. Learning with these professionals will connect you with great people in dance, music and art.

Aurora, the owner and Head Piano Teacher of Rising Stars Performing Arts, was my children’s piano teacher for the longest time. She was also my piano teacher for a couple of years and a friend. Because of her method of teaching, we learned to play the piano from the heart. She is not only a professional piano teacher but she is also a teacher who teaches from the heart, thus the students learn to play from the heart. Under her leadership and guidance, singing, dancing and musical instruments are taught in her studio where adults and children learn and are trained to rise as stars in performing arts. Today, my children do not only play the piano but they now also enjoy playing other musical instruments such as saxophone and clarinet without additional lessons. I, too, play the piano maybe not as a professional but as a way of expressing my feelings. Music has become an expression of our souls. I highly recommend Rising Stars Performing Arts to all those who want to learn to sing, dance and play musical instruments and rise as performing stars or to simply enjoy the performing art of music.

I was a fromer piano student of both Aurora and Mia. They were always very professional but at the same time treated you like family. Their talent, caring attitude, and great teaching skills have succeded in many people learning how to appreciate the performing arts. I would highly recommened Rising Stars Performing Arts, you will not be disappointed!

As a former student, I took piano lessons with Aurora for a few years. Her kind, and patient attitude helped me learn to love playing the piano. She is very skilled and knowledgeable, and the lessons I’ve learned from her have stayed with me for many years. This location is in a newer shopping development, a bit tucked away in the corner. However, there is plenty of parking, is very clean, and most importantly, safe. If you’re interested in learning to play the piano for the first time, advance your piano skills, this is the place to go!

The piano teacher is Aurora and my mom. Although she is my mom, she is the best piano teacher out there. Rising Stars is my home. I love all the kids there and we have grown to be a family. We like to see how kids learn and make new friends at the same time. I think all the teachers there are friendly and truly love working with their students. I definitely enjoy teaching the classes there and meeting new friends who have become like family to me. :)

My daughters had some doubts about taking a dance class for the first time but took a leap of faith and we are so glad they did! They have amazing teachers that instill confidence to help kids reach their full potential. I Highly recommend their Glee, voice, piano and guitar classes. Oh did I forget to mention they have Zumba as well? Yes it’s a studio that has it all!
