Very delicious food! Since I am Persian I am particular about my kabobs and this place has very good kabobs and grilled meats with perfectly fluffy white rice! Also, for those of you that eat halal all the meats served are halal.

I have been here twice and both times the food has been good. On the advice of another Unilocaler I ordered the combo appetizer which come with falafel, humus and a variety of others. It was good and gave a nice sample of items. The tahini and baba ganoush were a little bland imo but the other dishes where great, all in all good sampler. We then ordered #34 which is a chicken kabob with this fantastic rice that has raisins, dates and nuts in it. It is really good. We split this dinner and combined with the appetizer it was more than enough food to feed two people. My bill was $ 28 which I think was reasonable. They also give you free soup to start with. The reason for the 4 stars is the service. It is pretty good but there is some room for improvement. Also — check out the salad bar before you leave. Next time I go I might just do that because it has almost all the things my appetizer had and more.

I really wanted to like this place but I am extremely disappointed! The quality of the falafel is terrible, the falafel was burned and brown inside(refer to image). Everyone knows a great freshly made falafel is green inside.

Great food and customer service. Loved the complementary soup when you first come in and the fruits and sweet display as you leave. Clean and beautifully decorated dinning space. great family atmosphere.

I went here one afternoon with my boyfriend as both our first time. It’s located next to a farmers market and the owners for the farmers market and jasmine is both the same The food states it’s no MSG, only farm fresh organic food and halal quality. The prices were very good! The cheapest plate I’d say is about $ 10 and you still will get full from it. Not to mention the free lentil soup, free pita bread with butter and free bowl of fruit! Very kind of them Now why one star off? My knife that I was given was still dirty … From the actual knife part to the handle of it and it was wrapped inside the napkin. Everyone is human and has mistakes. I just asked for another knife and that’s all. Otherwise everything was perfect and i would come again! The food tastes so good but yes please be more mindful with the utensils and cleanliness of it.

this review is for their takeout as of April 29, 2016! I’ve been CRAVING some Mediterranean food these past few weeks and I can’t get enough! my boyfriend and I were both feeling pretty sluggish that day and we didn’t want to go eat out since it takes up too much of our time together and we only had a small window of time to spend with each other. when I looked up a Mediterranean place to eat, Jasmine was the first one to come up. it was only two miles away and they accepted takeout orders! this was our only solution to spend as much time together without having to get ready to go out and sit down for about an hour to eat. so I punch in their number and a very nice employee rang up my order. I never actually eaten here so I asked what side orders came with the desired dishes and he promptly answered(he didn’t know all the answers off the top of his head, but that didn’t bother me) and I ended up ordering a whole chicken and combination koobideh. the nice man said it was going to be ready in 15 minutes. ordering was definitely a breeze! when my boyfriend and I arrive about 20 minutes since we called, we see that the restaurant is very ornate and beautifully decorated inside and out. then we asked to pick up our order, pay debit, then leave. that was easy, too. I really like the way the packaged their food! the paper bags were really cute and the little ziplock bags the pita bread was stored in were SOCUTE. I’m not gonna lie, I’m gonna reuse them just because they’re super cute. also they weren’t stored in foam trays! they were inside heavy duty reusable plastic! anyways, we got plenty of food! we had a very large order of hummus, garlic sauce(I don’t know the actual name for it, but it’s a garlic flavored thing!), pita bread, tabbouleh, some side I can’t remember, roasted veggies, a whole chicken, a separate tub of rice, and our koobideh on a bed of rice. it was a LOT of food. I was a big fan of these large portions. the only complaint I have is there’s way too much rice and not enough protein! the koobideh is so good, why do I only get two of them! I need more! also their whole chicken was a little on the dry side. it was still good enough to eat, though. I will so come back here when my Mediterranean cravings kick in and I’m in the area!

A Persian/Mediterranean restaurant. The inside is pretty big. They also have a salad bar as well. We tried the family combo($ 40) which comes w/an assortment of kabob-meats, salad, and rice. I enjoyed the dish but I didn’t like any of the Kabobs which are made from«ground meat.» The chicken kabobs were ok but weren’t anything mind blowing awesome. The best meat kabob is the Beef Barg($ 15). The beef barg isn’t made from ground beef. it’s real cutlets of meat which look like small slices of steak. It’s a solid dish. Rice — I’d recommend subbing out the standard jasmine rice for Baghali rice(lima beans rice). I had the Loobia rice but it’s kind of sweet(has raisins and various dates in it). TIPS: –I’d recommend Kabobs which aren’t made from«ground beef» /«ground chicken.» Stick to the ones w/whole pieces of steak/chicken to ensure freshness. –The base rice is whatever. Try subbing out the regular rice w/different rices(costs extra, but tastes so much better)

The service here is miles above when they first opened. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great. There’s a little bar table thing they stock with what appears to be free fruits. I was seated instantly, and within minutes, I was given a free soup, and a new hummus dip they were testing, both complimentary. The soup appeared to be a chicken noodle soup variant. Slightly sweet, and kind of floury textured. It was good, but felt like it couldn’t decide if it wanted to be a broth or a chowder. The hummus thing was eggplant/onion and was really sweet and had a nice texture. It didn’t feel too slimy like eggplant usually does. They gave me so much, it was less of a sample size and more of a complete appetizer. I was also given some nifty bread paper things I forgot the name of, as well as half an onion. For what sinister purpose the onion holds, I may never know. The portions are hearty, and the chicken koobideh was very flavorful and well seasoned, leagues better than what my town has to offer, and I’d gladly stop by again all the way from Irvine.

Great place. Service was excellent. Décor was alittle busy but hey it’s Mediterranean restaurant. Food was 4 stars. Kabob place in Glendale still holds 5 stars for me.

Love! Love! Love this place. I haven’t had good Mediterranean food in a really long time and was quite impressed with my overall experience. The restaurant is huge and is a good place to have a big group celebration. The décor was festive and the furnitures were comfy. Overall, the restaurant was very welcoming and i enjoy the ambience while i enjoy my meal. The staff were very overall very friendly and helpful. They came a few times to to fill up our water and checked in to make sure we were helped. I highly recommend ordering the«COMBO» appetizer(Hummus, Mast O Mucir(yogurt), Baba Ghanoush, Shirazi Salad, and 3 Falafel to eat with the pita bread. They are made fresh with good quality ingredients. All the dips are super good and will go well with any entrees. For Entrees, order #6 Beef Koodideh($ 9.95) which is 2 juicy strips of ground beef served with basmati rice, grilled tomato, grilled pepper and grilled onion. You can substitute the rice with salad or i highly recommend half salad and half rice. I was impressed with how juicy the beef strip was even though it was completely cooked. It was also seasoned well and goes very well with the grilled vegetables. The portion they served is huge. You will be sure to have leftovers afterwards. The Salmon entrée($ 14.95) was also a good dish. It is a fresh marinated salmon grilled with a hint of olive oil, lemon juice, spice, and barbecued tomato which is served with basmati rice, grilled tomato, grilled pepper and grilled onion. The salmon dish was perfectly grilled hot and juicy. It had a bold taste and was amazed on the freshness.

Awesome amount of variety in the $ 10 salad bar… from okra to artichokes with legumes to hummus to stuffed grape leaves to baba ganoush and pita bread and fresh fruit and, of course, salad. I had to minus 1 star because the cantaloupe tasted rancid… I don’t know if it was the pineapple juice that had dripped into it or what. The server did remove the cantaloupe right after I told him about it. In addition, the chicken in the chicken wrap was slightly dry and on the bland side. Although the prices seem slightly higher than expected, the portions were HUGE; so, overall the prices are reasonable. The side order of basmati rice that we ordered for my daughter was large enough to share among the 3 of us(2adults and 1 kid). Complimentary bowl of yummy lentil soup. I would totally return and try other items. In addition, Jasmine serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has a juice and boba bar.

I didnt expect good Mediterranean food in this area, but Jasmine was a very pleasant surprise! The beef shwarma was really good, huge(about a foot long), and a very reasonable price! it was filled with beef in every bite! i got to-go and and the service was nice. i would definitely love to come back! esp since it’s so close to my work!

My husband and I walked into this restaurant and thought it was well decorated and clean. I was relieved when I saw the«Organic» label on the menu. A girl told us she would be with us in a moment. So we waited. and waited for about 15 minutes we stood there, staring at a female cashier who wouldn’t even acknowledge us. Then her manager approached the register and we were thinking we would be helped. She didn’t even say«Hi» or «Have you been helped?» The women could see and hear us, but I suppose they aren’t familiar with the importance of quality customer service, or even crappy customer service. They gave us NO service. 15 minutes into our waiting, ANOTHER woman came out to the register and asked if we had been helped. After telling her we’ve been waiting, she unapologetically took our order. I took home a slice of baklava for $ 4! It was ONE2 ½ inch long by 2 ½ inch wide 1 inch deep slice of baklava for $ 4! I am a baker and prefer organic ingredients, I LOVE to bake baklava, and I know the cost to make an entire sheet pan of organic baklava. I can tell you that it shouldn’t cost $ 4 for one slice of organic baklava. The gentleman who owns the farmers market next door owns this restaurant. He’s not hurting for money, I am sure, and I can venture to guess that he can make an entire sheet of organic baklava for the price of two $ 4 slices of baklava. In other words, this place has bad customer service and bad prices. The baklava was very doughy, too. One star is pushing it, too bad Unilocal doesn’t allow us to rate businesses with a half star or maybe even NOSTAR!

Packaging slip was stuck between the bread… No quality assurance & quality control ?? Waved down a waitress, she just smiled at me and never came to our table. Got the boneless chicken plate, the rice was super hard… Got stuck in my molars. Would never come back again

[ BLURBS ] Their Mediterranean food looks bomb, but I also noted that they served breakfast and of course I wanted in on that breakfast club. Always down for breakfast, yooo. [ FOOD ] Ordered their vegetarian three mushroom omelette with a side of hash browns($ 8.99). It came with avocados and sliced tomatoes, sweet! I love tomatoes. Omelette was pretty good, the mushroom flavor was very apparent and potent if you know what I mean. But that’s fine, I love mushrooms, albeit not for those that aren’t a fan of mushrooms. The eggs were nicely cooked so that they were fluffy and not too wet(too bad they don’t have egg whites as a sub). The hash on the other hand was under cooked, tasted like raw potatoes or something. It was wet and a soggy mess. We also had their OJ, it was SUPER freshly squeezed and alarmingly bitter, and had seeds in it. I believe it was the type of oranges they used, I wasn’t a fan of it. [ SERVICE ] Very attentive and made sure our orders had all arrived. He checked up on us enough to make sure we got our check in a timely matter and that we enjoyed our food. A huge plus is that they take AmEx! :)

I’m teetering on 3 or 4 stars. Food was great, the décor was great, the free lentil soup was delicious and tried the dessert Kunafa I think it was called that and was good! Service was a bit slow and inattentive but was catching up with a friend so it wasn’t too much of an issue waiting. As we were seated, out waitress gave us a complimentary lentil soup. Yum! I’d order a full bowl next time. We ordered the koobideh and it was delicious with lots of flavor. I just wish the rice had some flavor? My friend told me she puts butter in it as a Persian friend said thats how her family eats the rice and when I did that it tasted pretty awesome. So maybe put some butter in! We love dessert and we love cheese so when we saw the Kunafa on the dessert described as a cheese dessert, had to order it. Now it doesn’t really look like what’s pictured on the menu but was delicious. Best I can describe it is a whiskery like breading and tasted very similar to Porto Bakery’s cheese rolls! It looks small but it’s very rich so do share it. They have an all you can eat salad bar for about $ 10 which looked pretty good. They also had free fruits on the side but no one ever mentioned that too us until we were leaving and I overheard.

Parking: Plentiful. Parking off the the side and back of the restaurant is available. The few parking spots up front I found to be a bit of a tight squeeze, but you should have no problem finding a spot. Place: The set up is a bit odd given that the salad bar/juice bar takes up half of the place. Plenty of booths available and individual small tables. The family thought that the table set up seemed a bit«crowded» but because the place was only about 60% full, it was ok. As far as the service went, they were understaffed on the day we visited with only 3 wait staff members on the floor. Drinks and appetizers took a bit of time, but the waitress told us at the end of the meal that more than half of their wait staff call in sick. Granted, it did take a bit of time and there was some confusion, but I’ll give them a break. Price: Entrees ranged from $ 8 – 17 depending on what was ordered. I had the $ 17 Beef Saltani, which came with ground beef, filet mignon, basmati rice, a grilled tomato, and grilled pepper. In my opinion, $ 17 is a bit on the high side. I’m thinking of dropping in for lunch one day to try the $ 8 Beef Shawarma with fries, as that seems like a decent value. Pfood: Tasty food, that’s for sure. The Beef Saltani filet mignon was juicy and tender and the ground beef and rice was great as well. We also had an order of the Mast of Mucir(dip made of yogurt and garlic) for the table, which I thought was just average as it was a very thin dip. Only a few pieces of pita were provided and we had to request for more just to accompany the garlic dip. Fortunately, it also went well with the Beef Saltani dish. Overall, I’ll probably be back, but likely just for take out.

New Mediterranean spot that opened in Diamond Bar. This place used to be a Carrows but from what I can remember, it wasn’t doing so well and seemed worn down. Parking: They have their own lot so you don’t have to worry about that. Came here to eat lunch with my relatives. Seems like they recently opened the place. Inside, they have a salad bar(I believe it is all you can eat) and a juice bar! The service was a bit slow. but maybe they are adjusting and making improvements as they are running the restaurant. I ordered the chicken soltani($ 14.95) Comes with two different chickens… A strip of chicken breast fillet and another strip of seasoned juicy char-boiled chicken. It is served with basmati rice, grilled tomatoes, grilled pepper and grilled onions. Also ordered the appetizer combo($ 9.99) that comes with 4 different dips/sides.(hummus, mast o mucir-yogurt type of dip, baba ghanoush-made wiht eggplants, and shirazi salad and 3 falafels) They serve you pita bread too~ Enjoyed my meal. Not sure if they have many mediterreanean spots in Diamond bar… but I would come here again.
