This place doesn’t deserve 1 star, not sure how it got 4.5. Every time I go to this arco I leave disappointed. The only good thing about this place is the location. The fountain sodas are watered down and bitter, the icee’s are weak and don’t taste like the flavors they should taste like. The restroom always smells horrible and the door is always open so the smell leaks out. The gas is the worst around — even worse than Valero. I’ve tested it on 3 vehicles, a Buick and 2 Toyotas(a car & a truck). The gas made all of those cars drive funny. Using the gas from this arco made me leery of all arco stations but then I tried the gas from the arco on valley/grand and I didn’t have a problem. It still wasn’t as good as shell or chevron but I didn’t have trouble with my cars like I had using gas from this station. And to top everything off, the owner is an ass. He’s rude and full of himself. Their employee turnover rate is very high, there’s always new workers practically each time you go in. There’s a new guy named sunny and he is just as rude as the owner. I stopped in to buy cigarettes for my mom and he asked to see my ID(a downside of always having new employees, they don’t know you so they always ask to see your ID which is very annoying-but I digress) I showed it to him and he tried to snatch it out of my hand. Then when I didn’t just let it go he said he had to swipe it so I gave it to him. He swiped it and then threw it on the counter and told me my total. I handed him the money and he dropped the change in my hand. I had to reach all the way to his side of the counter to get the cigarettes as he didn’t hand them to me or even push them closer to me. I walked away and left the store. When I dropped the cigs off at home I told my mom that I was never going to go back to that ampm for anything. I will take the extra time to go to the one on valley/grand. At least the older lady with the extremely heavy accent that’s always there when I go is always nice and polite. She reminds me of my grandma.

Inexpensive gas and friendly crew — the BEST combination to make customers to keep coming back for all their fuel and miscellaneous needs before hitting the road to work.

I dunno why but this Arco is the cheapest around the neighborhood. There is virtually an Arco off of every freeway exit on the 60, but this one is definitely the cheapest always. I stopped going to Costco for gas cause I don’t want to pay Costco membership and drive to City of Industry and wait for 10 minutes everytime I get gas. I love Arco cause they only take cash or ATM and pass on the savings to the customer. That’s the reason I bought BP stock(Arco is owned by BP).

Okay for gas. But, the downside to this location is the outside vendors trying to hawk their goods. They are flat out annoying.
