Until The Grove arrived there was very little to choose from in Walton Co. No more! Their selection is incredible and their staff knowledgeable. Honestly don’t know how the guys down the block are still in business. Prices are decent but not really any big deals. Wide, spacious aisles, clean and neat. Highly recommend!

I don’t get it. Don’t Southerners drink? You know, Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Lynard Skynard? So why are liquor stores so sparse around here?
Problem solved: the Grove. It’s a few hundred yards down from the older liquor store in Walnut Grove. Ick. Go here instead. Really nice staff– and they are genuinely helpful and know what you’re talking about. Well-​lit and clean. And bottles are– gasp!- on shelves and not in mysteriously wet boxes on the floor like some places I’ve been in.
They also have an excellent wine selection. Obviously, because the name is «The Grove», but really. I was impressed!
