Absolutely terrible. They cannot get a Rx correct when you give it to them in black and white and call them. They screwed it up twice and cost me money and did not care and made no effort to fix THEIR problem. I was rushed through my very first appointment because he had an airplane to catch. Why can’t they schedule around that? I highly discourage you from going here.

Needed a physical and he was one of the few doctors in the area taking on new clients. He was behind, rushed, seemed a bit absent minded and he’s been sitting on my lab report for a week now and has not got back to me. Very worrisome as some of my levels were very high.
He seems burnt out plain and simple.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Bussey. He is very casual and relaxed. We actually sat at a desk across from each other to have a conversation first which I really appreciate. I was a patient at Kaiser for years and I hate how they walk in and sit at the computer, never making any eye contact. The office is a bit «old school» but don’t need it to be any other way. Some of his furniture and equipment are pretty amazing and might be worth a lot more than the cheap plastic stuff you see today. I really felt like I was attended to and cared for by Dr. Bussey. I’m glad I found him.

When I moved here over ten years ago, I wanted John Muir. I asked my doctor friends whom they would recommend and who was «scary smart» in their network. The greatest number of votes went to Dr. Bussey. My husband and I have been seeing him for about 12 years and he has lived up to his peers’ recommendation. He is a bit of a throwback to the old days of a doctor that builds a relationship and spends time with you. He is very smart, and his hunches are usually spot on. He does use some older equipment (if ain’t broken, don’t fix it) but he also has some new stuff. He also spends part of his time doing aviation medicine and must stay very up to date knowledge wise. If you want a plush office of an overpaid doctor that only has a 5 minute slot for you; he’s not for you. If you’re okay with a bit of quarkiness (in a nice way) to get to the bottom of a problem that seems insolvable, he’s the man. He’s also well networked with specialists should he need to get you in somewhere else. Finally, he is good with personal follow-​up, calling me back on the phone to discuss test results and next steps. Bottom line: don’t get too caught up with the «nice office» syndrome and go for brains.

FAA Medical once a year. He’s interested, thorough and professional.
What else do you need?

If there is a ZERO star for this doctor I would have given it to him and his nasty staff…
1^st they lost my blood test and I had to wait for a very long time for them to retrieve it.
2^nd when I got the chance to see the doctor he was in a ruch and didn’t want to spend any time explaining to me any thing. he has a very old equipment that I was extremely serprised that they even work. I had a very simple problem that could have been done in few seconds, but he refused to do it and asked me to come back so he will suck more of my money.
3^rd his reciptionest Jacki is extremely rude and nasty. I called her on the phone to ask her of my condition and so I can do some reaserch she was nasty and was not clear to me and hanged up the phone on me.
I would never go to this Dr again, his clinic was empty anyways and this should have alarmed me and he gave me an appointment immediatly when other doctors asked me to wait a month or two and when I went there I knew why he were able to see me that quick. I wish I never went there.
They were horrible to me and nasty and they only wanted me to pay when I don’t have to as my insurance cover everything and they wanted me to come back so I will have to pay a co pay. I seriosly felt like I am buying a used car not getting treated in a Dr office… My health is the last of their concern.

Been going to Dr Bussey for years for my FAA medical and he is a great doctor. Very professional and courteous. We need more Doctors like him.
