Dr. Smith does not have the patience to be working with kids. My son had 3 appointments with Dr. Smith. Each time Dr. Smith would get upset when I asked questions about my son’s eye site(AKA Doing his job). During one of the appointments Dr. Gordon became so upset he was visibly shaking. I would never feel comfortable leaving my kid(or anyone else’s kid) in a room with Dr. Smith because of his behavior and I will not be returning. Mr. Smith, if your job makes you that miserable perhaps you should retire or find another occupation.

Dr. Smith is condescending, impatient, and abrupt. He only spent 7 minutes with us. The office only takes cash or check.

Dr. Smith has worked with my son for several years. He has a great rapport with kids and the office staff is friendly.

Was referred to Dr. Smith for my infants eye condition. Not sure about his San Ramon office, but everything about our experience in his Walnut Creek office was bad. Nasty receptionist, hard to book an appt., worst physical medical office I have ever entered(including all the great signs«don’t lock the door», «don’t touch the television», etc.). Office doesn’t take credit or debit cards for copay, medical equipment appeared vintage WWII. To make matters worst, Dr. Smith’s bedside manner was poor… specifically, he was very rushed and snappy. Time for Dr. Smith to recommit or retire methinks.
