Best milkshakes! Super friendly staff. Very accommodating of children. Great burgers.

We ordered to go. The Mona and the Cali, spicy curly fries and onion rings, and a black and white shake. The Cali was really fresh and I got it with the Turkey Burger. Usually Turkey is dry but the avocado and the sprouts were key. It was a big splurge day and we loved it all. The shake was super thick. Just how we wanted it! It would be nice if the burger came with some mixed greens on the side. We should have ordered a salad. I will definitely go back, but good thing we walked over there :-)

The place was dim, accented with lights that were too bright. Painfully average burgers– unseasoned beef, unspectacular buns. Sweet potato fries were overdone. Not worth it for $ 12-$ 15 burgers.

The service here is great, and the burgers are excellent! Enough said! Oh, and the salads are really good as well :-).

Second visit and brought husband. He was impressed with the quality and freshness of ingredients, as well as variety of menu selections(hot dogs, wraps, salad entrees and micro beers avail! This place was a hit! We’ll definitely be returning.

Love Mona’s!!! Stopped in and placed an order to go while running errands near by and was so happy I did. Everything was delicious. We had burgers, a grilled chicken sandwich, fries and chicken tenders and everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Love the yummy ranch dip they give you with the fries.

Disappointing! This place came highly recommended by a friend and we were super excited to try it out. Such a shame! The burgers were decent. We had the truffle burger and the drunken burger. The Drunken was tasty and served as advertised. The truffle only had two small bites of truffle goat cheese. Those two bites were amazing but come on, only two bites. The skinny fries and chocolate shake was good but nothing life changing. The service was absolutely awful! Two servers and a bus boy and it was terrible. When we sat down there were two tables with food and two without, one of which was us. During our meal, my boss and his granddaughter sat down to share a shake. As we finished, we requested a shake to go and to have my boss’ shake added to our bill. I overheard my husband ask the server TWICE to put their shake on our bill. Did it happen? NO. My husband was trying to be discrete and since the server had already ran our check we let it be. Then my boss asks for his check. He seemed perplexed when he received the bill and asked ‘isn’t this happy hour’ as he pointed to the sign that clearly stated his remark. The server said it is but you only get the half portion. While I understand pricing and portion control is NOT within the servers control, it IS the servers job to clarify the guests order. My boss didn’t make a stink and happily paid the bill and left. We waited for our shake and upon delivery had to remind them we asked for the shake to go. Helloooo!!! Are you not listening? We sit down, don’t ask questions, order off the menu without modifications, and use our manners and you still can’t get the order correct. Good grief!!!

Good burger(had the Drunken with jalapeño jack), but zero craft beer on tap. Only craft beer here is a bottle of CaliCraft. The sub-par list of bottles makes me think they have a crappy beer distributor.

It was our first time here today and our experience couldn’t have gone better thanks to our server Andrea. She recommended her favorite way to get fries, skinny cut with garlic and parsley with a side of chipotle-aioli. My boyfriend and I totally inhaled it within minutes, it was delicious. She also recommended the espresso chocolate shake, and it was to die for! Andrea, along with the rest of the staff were wonderful! Super friendly and inviting as well, definitely made the experience at Mona’s so much better. My boyfriend ordered the Diablo Burger with an over easy egg & it was delicious. I played it safe & ordered some chicken tenders. Everything was so delicious. We’re definitely going back :)

Stopped in with some friends on a Monday night. Split a ‘screw ur diet’ burger & a bottle of wine, because I was exercising self control. Ordered the burger cooked medium, but was more close to medium-well. Meat was good, fried egg was cooked perfectly. Definitely rich & decadent, would recommend splitting or coming very hungry! Good spicy curly fries, onion rings & ranch dressing was house made. Quaint, non-pretentious environment. Dimly lit & has decent bar. Small, so I bet it’s hard to get a seat if it’s busy.

Dined tonight with Staci! She was such a pleasure, great attitude and quick service. Both had the drunken burgers with garlic curly fries. Awesome!

The good: Good beef, good salads, good fries, good selection of beers. The bad: Fries came out first, then burgers and salads together, then chicken tenders. The ugly: 3 burgers, 2 wedges, 2 beers, 1 chicken tenders, 1 lg fries, tax and tip = $ 84!!!

I found this place because The Habit burger down the street was too difficult to park, so I drove over to this shopping center and found Mona ’ s burgers and shakes. My daughter and I got seated and greeted right away. They have outdoor seating and some indoor seating. They fill up fast and I now know why. The burgers are great. They cook on an open flame and you can taste it. My burger(no bun) had a fried egg on it with cheese and onion rings. Writing this is making me crave another. Yum. I’ll be back for more.

Always good grub, always leave over-stuffed. Cobb’s are good, burgers good, curly fries, shakes. It’s a destination. Ya feel me?

After a hardcore cycling class at FlyWheel, BF and I were wiped out for the afternoon. After watching a few episodes of Friends reruns and taking a nap, we decided to award ourselves by checking out this burger place near us. Fantastic burgers cooked to perfection. I had the truffle with mushrooms and goat cheese and arugula, awesome! Next time I think I would ask for cheddar or swiss instead, not a goat cheese fan. We shared an order of spicy curly fries. They were da bomb dot com. I am glad we only got a small order to share because I would have eaten it all. Prices are fair, $ 10 – 13 for a gourmet burger. If you want a solid burger, this place is legit.

Take out review: The service experience drops the rating. Owner/manager should coach new? staff how to handle the ordering process, including smiling, a friendly demeanor, not handing menus to the customer upside down, not appearing mildly annoyed, not asking the customer how they want their burger prepared followed by an immediate«you want it medium?», and forgetting to point out that the burger doesn’t come with fries. That you learn after the fact. Basically, it was an unpleasant enough experience never to return again. Food was ok, not worth the $ 14. Cannot speak to table service.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon with the boyfriend and the place was PACKED. The wait took about 20 – 30 minutes for a party of 2; there were tables open but the staff was seriously overwhelmed. They could have benefited greatly from a manger directing them since we were often told contradicting info from all the wait staff. It was an anxious start to the meal, and I was starving but the food was worth it. We ordered the«Screw Diet» and the Hawaiian with grilled chicken, we also got the curly fries and shared an Oreo shake. The fries were especially good with the chipotle aioli. The food was AMAZING. My boyfriend swears it’s his new favorite local burger place. My only advice to management is to work on making sure the wait staff have the support they need(the now hiring sign was ever present). I would NOT suggest for large parties as the location is quite small. I would love to come back when it’s a little less crowded and enjoy it more fully.

This was an awesome find! Curly fries were delicious, haven’t had fries that perfectly crispy and tasty in a while! We split the Nutella shake which was served in a mason jar and was absolutely delicious, the shake had great consistency and we drank every drop. I ordered the Mediterranean salad which was a generous size, and nicely presented. The hubby ordered the Diablo burger with bacon. The meat patty was soo juicy and delicious, the type of burger we have been trying to find without going to a steak house. Loved the setup of the restaurant, we will definitely be back to check out additional items on the menu! Update — so we have been back a few times to check out other items of the menu(and it has definitely gained popularity as there is a wait each time). Very impressed with the Mona burger and the truffle burger. I was not a fan of the steak sandwich I got, although it was cooked medium it was just harder to chew, and the sandwich pretty much disintegrated, by which I mean the bun got slushy and shifty, sauce was everywhere, it was just a mess! Also tried the sweet potato fries, which were ok, but no where as near amazing as the curly fries. I know which items to stick to on the menu ;)

What a surprisingly great, new little place. I was slightly excited when I heard of this new little burger place that opened up close to my old little hood, and was even more pleasantly surprised to have discovered it’s taking over of the old Chopin Café that once resided here; and I’m also not too surprised that the little café didn’t last; I mean, it was good, but nothing stellar. Back to Mona’s, I think they did a fabulous job at renovating this once outdated place into a more trendy, modern ambiance; equipped with a great color scheme-very sleek and clean appearing. It is small though, leaving it feeling a little cramped. It’s apparent they are trying to hopefully hone in on a few little tweaks. For instance: Upon entering, I was certainly noticed by several few staff members working, however, it took them close to 5 minutes to ask me if I had been helped«Really» I thought, my standing there looking at you guys with a blank stare, didn’t resonate the thought that I might need assistance or want to be seated? And thats along with considering the fact that there was only 2 people sitting at a table, and a small group of people up at the bar area waiting for shakes. I guess its a seat yourself service. But anyhow, my annoyance upon my first entering, soon dissipated once I was graciously seated by a nice young server who later assisted me. They have a pretty impressive menu; providing a great selection of craft style burgers. It was a splurge day for me(I allow that once a week) so, I ordered their very appealing sounding«Diablo Burger» it consisted of sauteed jalapenos, chipotle aioli, melted pepper jack cheese and sauteed onions for $ 8.95. I asked for it medium rare. It also comes with a side salad, and I also ordered a cup of coffee. Coffee was decent. The burger arrived deliciously appealing. And it turned out quite delicious as well– Nice natural sesame seed buns, perfectly cooked(medium rare as asked) patty, savorly seasoned; along with the components of the creamy pepper jack cheese and aioli sauce, coming together to create one satisfying burger. All though it seems there are a few little quirks they probably need to pan out, I thought the food was quite good, the environment was cool, my server was personable, and the prices were pocket friendly… This all equals a satisfied customer, who will most likely return.
