I called around to find a place to get a pedicure and Julie made me feel so comfortable and welcomed I went there for the 1^st time and she was AMAZING!!! Thank You Julie!!!

I have been going to Julie for six months. I have had the best feeling and looking nails of my life. I work close by and see lots of the ladies and men getting there early for their services. I see a lot of older people with nail probelems and Julie fixes them also! They are so happy and relieved. You can see it her customers faces, they are so loyal & happy! I love the personal attention and one woman shop atmosphere. Julie is so efficient and doesnt waste time cutting cuticles. My nails have never looked or felt better! She dips my nails in the gel powder. (I also have tips) she never uses acrylic. The gel is much better as my nails can last up to three weeks! If you ask Julie for something, she is very accommodating. It is so nice having a very skilled and caring nail tender. Even if I don’t have an appointment, she will give me the next cancellation and I am in and out in 20 minutes if needed. I never liked getting my nails done before Julie. She makes it painless and quick without any problems. And if there was a problem, she would fix it immediatly.

This is a nice nails salon near Rossmoor. Most customers have appointment every 3 weeks with the gel dip nails. Gel dip is last better than acrylic and stronger than shellac, more natural and corlor stay beautifully… The shellac nails stay good with the best product from CND top and base coat. Those help the nails grow stronger and better!

I found Julie’s Luxury Nails and Spa by stopping by as I was looking for a new nail place after my move to Walnut Creek. I had stopped at one other nail place but did not even get in the door, as the smell and talk put me off. I stopped by Julie’s shop and it is CLEAN and no «nail» fragrance. Julie is very nice, speaks English and is a one women show. I so enjoyed my first appointment and my nails look great– STAY on for three weeks and people notice how nice they look. I like the Dip Gel style as my nails are thin and look like real nails. My nails do not feel heavy like they did before with the brush on acrylic powder.
I so enjoy going to Julie’s nail spa that I have told all of my friends about her shop.

Spotless salon, may not have all the «bells and whistles» of high priced salons but excellent work and very reasonable prices. For those who complain about being a bit late, remember to always be on time yourself as the reason Julie occasionally runs late is because at some time during the day someone came late and Julie tried to be accommodating. I’ve been getting nails and toes done for years and think Julie’s work is as good as it gets.

I came to Julie at a time about three years ago, frustrated because my gel nails were always lifting in between appointments at a different salon. She was referred to me by another very satisfied customer — a friend of mine. Oh my gosh! What a difference professionalism makes. She does such a thorough job on my nails, I consistently receive compliments by people I associate with. My nails always look wonderful for two weeks — occasionally three weeks — until my next appointment. I appreciate while I wait for my turn, hearing the compliments she always receives as she is finishing another customer’s nails. I know I am in the right place and I am here to stay.

I have been to Julie three times, and having had my nails done for years on the Peninsula, I was a little disappointed. First time, I had a pedicure and that was just ok. No foot massage. The next two times were to have my nails done. The first time, she ran 15 minutes late. She did an ok job. My experience has been when doing gel nails the technician uses a powder and solution and applies with a brush. Julie put what looked like nail glue on to my nail and dipped my finger right into the container of powder and then tapped my finger to remove the excess. I didn’t think that was very sanitary.
The second time I had my nails done, my appt was at 8:45. she called the night before to say it was at 9:00. I showed up before 9:00 and STILL had to wait another 10 – 15 minutes BEFORE she even showed up at the shop. This time when she did my nails, she did the same filing, nail glue, nails dipped into the container the powder comes in. Crooked nails, thick. I got the feeling she wasn’t interested in her job.
She seems nice, but I don’t think I am going to go back. Sorry. As I mentioned earlier, I have had my nails done for years and she seems to be cutting corners and she charges more for less service.

My go to nail salon… Julie is wonderful and excellent at her craft. Highly recommend.

After a stressful week with home remodeling, I was ready for a pedicure as a relax me gift to myself. I called in the morning and Julie was accommodating and took me that afternoon after work. When I entered her salon, it is very clean and new. Since Julie works as a one woman operation in the salon, appointment is a must. I also appreciated the individual attention without the usual noise from other workers/​customers in a salon.
The massage chairs were nice and new and felt good as I got my pedicure. I picked a pretty pink color and Julie did a good job with my pedicure. She even smoothed out a callus under the balls of my feet when she noticed it during the foot/​leg massage. Since her next customer didn’t come, she offered to give me a free flower design on my toes. I never had a flower design on my toes before and it was so cute!
Julie was sweet and thorough and a pleasure to chat with. One little suggestion: I do wish she would have waited until after I got up to clean the tub because her soapy glove touched my heels a couple of times and it wasn’t as relaxing as I wanted if the tub is being cleaned under me. Also some more nail color selections would round this up to a 5 star!

Julie is lovely, personable, welcoming and professional. She graciously accommodated a late appointment for me on a Saturday night and my special requests for my manicure and pedicure didn’t phase her despite the late hour.
Now that I know she is there in the shopping center with the Wells Fargo on Tice Valley Rd near Rossmoor I trust I will return to her again and again.
