Lafayette, CA
Lafayette Studio is really a godsend. I wanted to take lessons to really increase my knowledge and experience with color, drawing, painting and whatever else came my way creatively. Jody Mattison is a real master and she surrounds herself with other teachers such as Patsy Taylor and Mira White who also teach there. If you are serious, this is the place to go. I continue to study here and intend to do so indefinitely.

Lafayette Studio is wonderful! Classes are small and allow lots of opportunities to ask individual questions. The space is lovely and air conditioned in the Summer. There is a great variety of classes and teachers to choose from. Parking is easy. Great company of fellow local artists. Doug and Jody are very responsive to any questions you might have and run the Studio efficiently. You can also pay a monthly fee to come and go and use the studio as you like. Great for beginners and experienced artists alike.
