Dimaggio’s Barber Shop

My favorite place to go for a haircut in Walnut Creek! All the barbers are skilled and I’ve never had a bad experience in years going.

It’s old school, if that what you are into… its the place for you… I have a lot of trust in these guys and they always deliver@@

Allright haircut, theyre nice but not the type of haircut I was looking for. Razor fade but no razor was involved, unhappy. Old school barbershop not fit for new school cuts.

Came in here for the first time and wanted to get a good haircut not a great clips cut. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Bill. Needless to say I was not happy and felt like the haircut was rushed. Although bill was a nice guy he did not take the time to put in a decent job, especially when it came to the important parts like the taper in the back and around the ears.

Very professional, friendly and quality work! Thank you for my husband’s great haircut!

Man, you gotta love a good barber shop. I’ve been going here since I moved to Walnut Creek 3 years ago, and have always had a good experience. I have a few buddies out here that prefer the fancy little salons in town. I have a problem with that. Be a man, go to a barber shop, talk about sports, pay 22 dollars, go home looking handsome AF. Simple recipe, and 90 percent of the time, Dimaggio’s delivers, every time.

Classic old school barbershop. I’ve been going here 15 years, and have always had a good cut. Each is slightly different, but all are good. I’d feel badly not sticking with on barber but they’re all great. Clean, friendly, well-​organized and extremely affordable. A million times better than a «supercuts» type place, and more affordable, and just as good as the fancier stylists I was going to before I found Dimaggio’s. Highly recommended.

I’m here now with my kids and my husband, and we have found our new go-​to Barbershop! I found this shop while i was looking for a shop that opened early. We were greeted as we walked in. Love the vibe of the place! We will be back!

New to Walnut Creek and came across Dimaggio’s. I couldn’t be happier, Sal took care of me right away, and walked out with a great fade and nice and tight on top with just enough extra length up there.
As a prior motorcycle rider that cut his own hair with clippers for the past 16+ years, I can say I’ve missed a precise professional cut with clean fades and sharp lines… 5 stars!

Great barber shop. Down to earth, straight forward, and always with a smile. By far the best shop in the greater Walnut Creek area.

New to the area and decided to try this place out after reading the Unilocal reviews. Was able to walk in and sit down right away. Requested a trim and mentioned that I had been procrastinating getting my hair cut for awhile. I explained how I would like it parted and styled. He basically shaved my head and charged me $ 22. This is not what I requested or would expect from a professional establishment. I don’t think the guy knew how to use a pair of scissors, but sure knew how to shave with the clippers. When I got home, my girlfriend noticed that it was cut uneven and patches of longer hair were evident in areas. Very disappointed and if you want your hair shaved with a clippers you can probably pay 7 $ somewhere else for the same cut. Will NOT got back.

Never been here before, but I just called to see if they offer straight razor shaves. The gentleman that answered was very polite and said they didn’t, but gave a recommendation for a shop nearby that did.
This is how you earn business, and when I go for my next cut, it will be here.

Been coming here for a few years and have nothing but good things to say. Feels feels good to have a local barber that you can count on

DiMaggio’s provides a great haircut. No matter which barber you see, you’ll get a great cut. I usually try to sit for Ryan, Tara, or Sal, but everyone is good here. It’s well worth my drive from Concord and the occasional wait on the weekend. I only wish they used a straight razor around the edges.

If you’re looking for a great barbershop in the East Bay, look no further than Dimaggios. Sal, the owner, is friendly, professional and will give you a great cut. The price is very reasonable and it has the feel of an old school barbershop, with all the banter between the customers and the barbers. I always look forward to getting my haircut there.

I highly recommend DiMaggio’s Barber Shop for anyone guy that is looking for a solid haircut or trim.
DiMaggio’s is a no frills old school shop & I mean that in the very best way possible. No gimmicks, No BS. Just professional barbers who are very good at what they do.
My barber of choice is Wes, I’ve been going to him for a couple of years now & always walk away happy & looking better than I did when I walked in.
So yeah, go here for a solid cut… & don’t call it a comb over that just makes you sound like an moron.

If you appreciate no a nonsense classic barber shop that seems untouched by time then look no further than Dimaggio’s. The place may seem a little sparsely decorated but that has nothing to do with the quality of hair cut that you get.
I always go to RYAN because he does a fantastic job and never seems to rush even when he has customers waiting. Long story short, if you want a great haircut at a reasonable price by a friendly barber stop in.

Was in town to see some family, needed a haircut and ended up finding DiMaggio’s on Unilocal!I was in a little bit of a time crunch, and had called numerous other places. When I called DiMaggio’s they said just to come right in and they would take care of me.
They were right. I was in and out within an hour on a busy Saturday. Great haircut and a fun place to visit. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in town.

Off of Unilocal reviews I went to this shop. Called ahead and they said they had seats open and even checked the street for spots and told me there were a few. Walked in and sat down with the owner who put his paper down and greeted me with a happy smile. I gave him the basics of what I wanted figuring he would wrap that in with his 38 years of barber experience and my hair came out great.
I had run out of my brand of pomade and asked him what he thought of the new stuff he had on his shelf. He sold it to me for a cheap price and overall it was a great experience. I have had a few people comment on how good my hair looks. I am a new man! I will be going back and I hope to see all those guys again.
