Polmart Deli

Good pierogies. Not the best i’ve ever had but good

Did I go on a bad day? At a bad time? Bummer!
I went in to pick up something for dinner and wound up just selecting the perogies. I’m eating them now, and they’re truly «meh.» Maybe because I was there around 7 pm? The only selection they had were potato and cheese. They’re kinda gummy, and rather bland aside from the nice peppery aftertaste. The only real flavor comes from the few onions stuck to the perogies. I’ve just had much much better.
Although the girl behind the counter was sweet, I couldn’t understand most of what she was saying when I asked what stuff was in the hot food area.
Perhaps I’ll try again in view of the glowing reviews.
Take out only, deli counter and grocery items available. No prices or descriptions posted for most of what they offer.

As close to Polish home cooking as you can get. The meals here taste the most authentic out of all the other restaurants and delis in the area. The food production here is on a smaller scale and this is probably why the food tastes so good. The fried fish, and golombkis give any Polish grandma’s cooking a run for her money. Polmart also carries a good selection of cold cuts, kilbasas, cheeses, and various Polish delicacies and canned goods.

There’s a little old lady (maybe 2) that cooks in the back. There are no signs in English, but the girls working the counter are helpful.
They offer hot meals as well as cold cuts and the usual deli offerings. I am just reviewing the hot food area.
The food’s delicious and fresh. I’m especially fond of their soups, fish and stuffed cabbage. Their servings are inexpensive and more than generous. It’s worth stopping in!

Polmart Deli is an excellent Polish deli, I always get their homemade pierogies one word «DELICIOUS» Great prices and customer service, and all of the employees are well educated with the merchandise. If you want fresh authentic Polish food, Polmart Deli in Wallington is the place to go. They also cater all occasions, which I found to be helpful for my Son’s first birthday. Polmart Deli has not ONE, not TWO but Three Locations in Northern, NJ. I have told all of my friends who now go there a few times a week, and now its time to tell Unilocal that Polmart Deli is as good as it get!!!
