Once again this store disappoints. I have painters at my house with the 2 gallons (of 4 I needed) of deck stain they had left that I purchased Monday. Dan assured me the truck is always waiting for them when they arrive on Wednesday and the stain will be on the truck. Stupid me didn’t call this morning to make sure it came in and arrived to have Shaun be as rude as ever telling me to (sarcastically) have a nice day. He said I should go to Hamden or Cromwell. If they had them then why didn’t they offer that to me Monday when I made my original purchase?!
The only reason I go back here is because this is where my contractor purchases from. From now on I’ll ignore his choice and go elsewhere and I suggest everyone else stay away too.

Sold me a product I didn’t ask for at the Wallingford, CT store
I sent my husband in with the code, color and sheen of paint we needed and he specifically asked for eg shel sheen paint to touch up a wall. He was told that their satin and eg shel were «basically» the same and was sold satin. Well $ 43 later I find out that the same and basically the same is a big difference. I called and was told by 2 people in store that it wouldn’t match. Sean, «the manager» was so rude that I lost my temper. He basically called me a liar and said he would replace the paint. Well-​I will never set foot in that store again and I advise everyone to stay far away. So my small patch of painting turned into a big job of an entire wall and stair case. In the future sell the consumer exactly what they ask for not what you think they want.
