Fastest and easier process I have ever had when giving blood. Parking is hard for bigger vehicles.

This location is open until 12PM on Saturdays. I walked in at 11:48, signed in, and sat down. I left an hour later. 80% of that was sitting in the waiting room. If I’d had an appointment, it might have gone by faster but I’m not sure because I’ve never made an appointment. The waiting area was clean, there were plenty of magazines, and the wait was not unreasonable considering the number of people ahead of me in line. It would have been GREAT if there had been some music playing in the waiting room, but it was completely freaking silent. When a guy ten feet from me sipped his juice, I heard him swallow and heard the liquid make its way to his belly. PINDROPQUIET. Aside from that, which may very well be my preference and no one else’s pet peeve, I had a fine experience. I never walk into a blood lab not expecting a wait. When I got into the phlebotomy room, the phlebotomist was very friendly, very conversational, was quick about taking my insurance and identification information, and didn’t do a bad job with the vein/prick process. As a side not, the absolute most amazing phlebotomy experience I’ve ever had(I know; weird sentence) was at Bristol Hospital’s blood draw location. I didn’t feel a THING. It was completely jaw-dropping. That’s not Quest. But Quest is good. Just probably make an appointment.
