Oh man I wanted to like this place so bad. Ugh. They need some serious improvements. Our waiter was flustered from the start, rushing around even though they weren’t that busy & he was not really paying attention. The food was decent but it took FOREVER to come out. Drinks were forgotten about a few times. Had to remind the waiter and he seemed annoyed with the basic aspects of what his job entails. One of our dishes had paper/labels from a box mixed into it. They were nice enough to not charge for that one.

Love it! Delicious food and amazing service. For appetizer I would recommend the shrimp feta and saganaki. Family style salads are delicious as well with light house dressing on them. Leave room for the entrees and you can pick anything on the menu and usually it never disappoints!

We came back to Laskaras because we remembered what a great meal we had the last time, this time unfortunately it was very disappointing. We went on a Saturday night and they seemed a bit overwhelmed. We started with lobster bisque which had nice amounts of lobster but was cold and oversalted, for 10 bucks a cup we expected better. I had the seabass, fish was cooked wonderfully but the mashed potatoes and veggies were cold. My husband was not impressed by his filet and thought we

First time here last night– it was our anniversary dinner and we did arrive rather late(8:30 and they close at 10). However we were greeted by a very pleasant hostess and waitress despite our late arrival. We came specifically on a recommendation from my boss as well as the fact that they had clams on the half shell on the menu. Unfortunately they were out of clams(but reasonably so; i guess the beds are still frozen). So we opted for the mussels di zuppa instead. OMG best mussels ive had! They were super fresh and plump and the sauce was great! My boyfriend almost picked up the bowl to drink it. They get 5+ for the mussels. They also give you bread and a family style greek salad during the appetizer course. I was craving red meat so i went with the NY strip however I really wanted to try the seabass because it looked amazing. My steak was ok– it was good but not steakhouse good, but I cant really expect that from them since they aren’t a steakhouse! Cost was 29 and it came with mashed potatoes and carrots. My boyfriend got the shrimp/scallops over linguine in a zuppa sauce. I was worried because we just had a bad experience at another local restaurant with the same dish but he loved it! He kept saying how great the seafood was and the sauce and thats clear that they really care about their sauces. Price for that was 23. We also got wine(6.50 a glass for house that was really good for my tastes) and corona(4.95). So prices for drinks weren’t bad. Lastly, our waitress Jamie was great. We never felt rushed(despite being the absolute last people out of the place) and she spent time talking to us in general. Overall great experience and we will go back, i need to try that seabass! P.s sign up front said ladies nite on thursdays and you get a free glass of wine with any entrée. I’ll be back!
