Love this salon! It’s fabulous. The staff is so nice! April is my stylist and I’ve loved every style and cut and now extensions that she’s done.

I absolutely love this salon! I won’t go to another salon… I’m hooked! Pauline does my hair & she is amazing! I get so many compliments on my color & cut. Bianca does beautiful eyelash extensions & Faye does the best gel manicures! The makeup artist Bianca does the best makeup ever, it never feels heavy & aways looks gorgeous. The owner Lena is always friendly & welcoming when anyone comes into the salon. The energy at this salon is great, I can’t say enough great things about it.

Beautiful salon, nice location. I didnt like the way the transaction went on when I gave the groupon. It felt cheesy. Facialist was nice, but felt was very impersonal, like She just wanted to add more services. Understand she’s trying to build her business, but no one on one connection. The pictures of the girls hair that someone named Manny did was awesome!

Blush salon is awesome. My 5 start review goes out to Manny. Manny does a wonderful job, he is amazing with those brushes. The owner is very nice and polite! She makes an effort to talk to all her customers and makes sure they are satisfied while being there. Love getting my hair done here.

Stephanie did a phenomenal job walking me through the options of what I wanted in a hair color and style. I felt very comfortable that I could trust her to make my hair look great and in a style I feel comfortable doing at home (I definitely like an easy to care for look).
I am so happy with how my hair turned out! I didn’t know that it could look so natural! I will be back again, for sure.

This place is AMAZING! Everyone here is super friendly from the moment you walk in. Pauline has always done my hair, even after I moved to different cities out of state this place is my go-​to any time I am in town. I have thick, long curly hair that she knows how to highlight, cut and blow-​out perfectly every single time! She’s amazing and she always listens (Trust me, I have had terrible hair experiences that left me crying in the past so its really reassuring and comforting to have some one really listen to what you want!) I am a serial cheater when it comes to salon and stylists; but, finally found a stylist and salon worth committing too! Lena is hands down the best colorist; she took my virginity last year and I’ve been back ever since; have received so many compliments on my sombre (Instagram @skyesuh @lena_blushsalon). I have long hair and Lena is great; AND she is sweet, gorgeous, and cares about her clients! Also, Faye does amazing blowouts, I go every week! I have a crazy, busy schedule and Blush always accommodates me. Also, yes, it is a little bit «LA»; thank goodness for that in Michigan. I travel all over the world and I’m thankful to have a salon that is on trend! They carry the best products; and have a great range of services. So, thank you Lena and Blush for giving me a little «LA»! Xoxo

This salon is completely over rated. The people that work there seem to think they work at a high end salon in LA or something but it’s not… we are in Walled Lake, MI. I have been to this salon a few times to get my hair cut, at that time there were rumors or adding a ‘blow bar’, pinky up! Needless to say the woman that cut my hair botched it so badly, its took almost an entire year for my hair to grow back to normal.
I went here to get a simple bob cut and when I got home I noticed on the right side of my head there was an entire chunk of my hair missing. I asked a few diffrent people if they noticed it and they all said yes and started laughing.
A few months later I went to another salon and was told there was really nothing she could do until my hair grew back a little more. She did her best to blend my hair so it was less noticeable.
Overall, I think the woman who cut my hair is more of a colorist then anything else. She is a very sweet woman and I know it was just an accident but I will never go back.

The Main Point:
I’ve gone to Lena (head stylist) for a few haircuts — her style is hit or miss, and when she misses, she misses big.
My Story:
I have always had long hair, and I scheduled a cut with her in March 2015. Her apprentice, Roxy, made a scheduling error with my appointment, and Lena was expecting me 15 minute earlier. When I came in, Lena was livid and enraged about her time being wasted. She was rude and yelling. I explained the miscommunication, and she gritted her teeth to smile and said «don’t worry, I’ll still give you a great haircut.» Kind of in a Disney movie villain voice. I should have trusted my gut and left.
However, I sat down in the chair, and Lena continued to berate me. I asked her to just cut 3 inches off, and she cut off 7 inches of length. I looked like a 9 year old with the hair shoulder length, and in a complete straight line (vs an artistic U-​shape or attractive cut). She made the entire hair 1 layer instead of adding layers to reduce the weight. Lastly but not least, she cut the length of the hair at an angle — so the hair on the right side of the head was 1.5 inches longer than the hair on the left side of the head.
Professional Evaluation of Lena’s Work:
I get my hair professionally styled every weekend, so I have since gone to ~5−7 stylists since Lena’s cut (since I travel often). I always ask for each stylist’s perspective on the cut, and consensus is that this was a disastrous cut that Lena gave. It has too much weight at the bottom, there are no layers, and the bottom is cut at a slant (1.5 inch difference). My primary hairstylist said it would take a year to fix the damage Lena caused and that a «repair haircut» was needed to fix all of the problems she created.
Recommendation for Potential Customers:
I would not recommend Lena if you’re looking for a reliably good haircut, and if you value having nice hair — because she always does whatever she wants and with a nasty attitude.
