Bayside Sports Grill

I was there this past saturday night… the place wasn’t very crowded, although once the band started, more people showed up. Nonetheless, i will not be going back there anytime soon. I ordered french onion soup and a cheeseburger. The soup was gross, as it literally tasted as if someone had poured a whole shaker of salt into it, and the cheese was hard in certain areas. Moreover, when they brought out our table’s meals, they brought me a turkey burger, even though i had ordered a cheeseburger. They quickly fixed that, however, once the cheeseburger came out, i had to ask three times, and wait 10 – 15 minutes for Ketchup. At no time did our waitress apologize for screwing up the order, or for me having to wait as my burger (which wasn’t very good either) got cold while she located a jar of heinz.
If not for having friends in bands who play there occasionally, i would never set foot in that restaurant ever again.

The «Bad Santa» was Cheerful and just down right wrong. But you couldn’t help to love him. Had a once in a life experience and just wanted to thank the whole establishment for the unforgettable time.

There are a lot things to do with ur day. U can take a leisurely stroll. You can play backgammon in a park. But there is magic that lies within bayside grill .

If I would give this place no stars, I would. Awful. DO NOT EAT HERE! The smell coming out of the kitchen makes me sick. It is clear that they do not do a good job cleaning that kitchen. The bathrooms are always filthy. The only nice thing about this place is the patio, unfortunately, you will sit there are a minimum of 10 minutes before someone greets you and another 10 minutes to get a drink. You can’t even get service at the bar.
So sad because it’s in such a prime location.
My suggestion, go there for drinks only, but be prepared to wait!

Went here despite Unilocal reviews. I should have listened. View was amazing, right on the lake, nice breeze. Wait staff left a lot to be desired. We got the nachos to start. Absolutely awful but we were hungry. Chips on bottom were crumbs, see picture I posted. Also got a margarita pizza, was so so. Will be back for drinks on the deck, won’t be eating food.

This place has the potential to be SO much more! The location doesn’t get any better then this place, they are right on the water (Walled Lake). When this place first opened is was packed every single night, the inside was new and clean, and service was great. Fast forward a few years, this place is a dump.
On Friday’s and Saturday’s they have a band that plays so incredibly loud there is no way you can have a conversation with someone who is sitting right next to you. I know the servers and management must get complaints, you just look around and see the disgust on everyones faces. Right before the band starts, I usually leave.
The bar is fairly large and should have two bartenders at all times but they never do. There have been times where I have waited ten minutes to even get the bartenders attention, they usually don’t pay attention to women. Almost every time I am there one beer tap is out.
I went here on my 22^nd birthday and while sitting at a booth bug were crawling around the window (on the inside) and on the table, which is why I won’t eat here anymore.
They do have a beautiful four seasons room that looks right over the water but the serenity is usually lost with a beer pong tournament going on.
In the summer people can pull their boats up to the docks (I think there are three) right next to the restaurant. But the same people usually sit there all day and even get food delivered to them so no one else can pull up.
Overall, this is just another stopping place in the good ol town of Walled Lake.
