Great staff was seated very quickly, Coffee really good. Try some of the chicken noodle soup a bit on the salty side. The garlic bread was a little on the hard side. Tasted great nonetheless. The new fish tacos are not that bad. My wife had the chicken dinner chicken tasted good but was a little off the salty as well. As for the potatoes could have been better. Overall experience Absolutely fantastic :-)

Family of four — ordered the walleye sandwich, chicken fried steak, kids meals and a cup of wild rice chicken soup. Our food was fabulous, service was outstanding, and the restaurant itself was well decorated and clean. For dessert we had coconut cream pie and a brownie with ice cream. The only downside is that we are only in town for a week and won’t be able to go back!

I had the fish tacos with french onion soup, and both were awesome. My sister had the fish and chips platter, and did not stop raving about how tasty it was. The portions are huge – definitely splittable between two people, if you don’t have a really large appetite. Our waitress was really friendly and the service was fast. I would definitely visit again.

My fiancée ordered from the breakfast menu and I had the Reuben. In both cases the plating was beautiful! The flavors are fantastic and the fries are the best I’ve had in the area! Very nice atmosphere and great service; very prompt! We will definitely return!

I was seated right away, waited a while on the return of the waitress. When I asked about the «Special» biscuits and gravy I asked how fresh the biscuits were; she said they are store bought. I passed and based on other Unilocal reviews of the stuffed hash-​browns. They were good, coffee was only ok.

Very good breakfast! I had the stuffed hashbrowns and ordered a side of gravy to go with it. I would recommend it. Our server was very pleasurable and attentive. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the fact the only «hot» sauce they carry is Tabasco. This seems to be an issue in the area of Minnesota we are in though.

Though, I cannot attest to the dinner menu here it is the best place to get breakfast in the area. The cinnamon swirl French toast is to die for. Smothered hash browns and malted waffle are delicious as well. Even when the place is full, you still get your food quickly. Sometimes the waitresses seemed to get caught up and forget drink refills, but there always seems to be one nearby to flag down.
As far as the dinner menu, the majority of the food items are the classic diner items. Mom loves the liver and onions there.

Nice place, enjoyed the breakfast special of biscuits and sausage gravy. Quick service and good food go along with a long history of this place. Good value for your dollar.
