This was the best independent used bookstore in Southern MD. Miss Ellie was awesome. You could go in with a list of books and she would put up on her wall and call you when the book came in. It was small but jam packed with books. I always came out of there with a bagful. The prices were more than reasonable. Certainly cheaper than buying them new. Miss Ellie let you trade in your used books, give you 1⁄3 — ½ credit for them and you could put that towards buying more. The shame is Miss Ellie has gotten very ill and couldnt find anyone to buy the shop so she closed in February, :(

Quite expensive for a used bookstore Some books can be bought for the same/similar price(sometimes even for less) at Borders down the street. You could save money with a 40% off Border’s coupon actually vs buying same book at this used bookstore

I found this place looking for an old book. I was a little skeptical at first, then I fell in love. It’s like the old book store you see in movies. the shelves are pieced together, books are EVERYWHERE! Oddly enough the lady in the front knows where everything is and if a particular book you are looking for has come in, she can find it(she has powers lol). It has some cool stuff in it. I really like that you can bring in your old books for credit and now they even hold your credit slip, just in-case you forget the one they gave you. You have to look hard to find this store, if your moving to fast you are sure to miss it. Enjoy :O)
