Elkins Karate Center

All good when your new!
Our family was very familiar with Elkins karate. So naturally when we were interested in kickboxing, we returned to them. Took advantage of a free 30 day pass. After the trial we approached Keith about continuing. He only offers 6 ($ 90)or 12 month (75 $) contracts. Which in my opinion is fine for karate, not kickboxing. He was also extremely rude when asked about drop in rates/​punch cards. He said.“I don’t know what u want me to do”. Less than helpful to say the least. No worries we won’t be back. We’ve joined a local full service gym that offers kickboxing & many other choices, including childcare for $ 29/​month. Bottom line this studio is Not competitive with local market pricing. It would seem as if he’s only in it for the ca$h/contract.

First lesson for the littles tonight and so far so good. Owner Dan Elkins is as kind as they come and he has some great senior staff/​instructors.
