ZEROSTARS for Edible Arrangements. I called to place an 80.00 order today, at my local Edible Arrangements in Waldorf, Maryland. I gave the name of the business I was sending it to, as well as location, and contact and phone number. I was asked for the address. I told her I didn’t have the exact address but couldn’t she call the number I gave her and get it before delivering. I was told, «No Mamn, we don’t do that.» I said, «you dont call before you deliver and verify the address?» She just No. I thanked her for her time and hung up. I then called corporate HQ and explained the entire thing and asked if this was their policy. I was told yes it was. I told them I could not believe that whomever started this company would think it was ok to lose a sale, no matter how small, over an address. She said this was the way it was. I thanked her and hung up after suggesting she somehow leave a message for someone at the top and propose that this policy be changed. Any local florist will call and verify an address before delivering. Edible Arrangement should do the same. They lost my business, and i cant imagine how many thousands of dollars they are losing nationwide over the same reason. My hope is that someone at the top see this and make some changes for the sake of their business. in the meantime, I am advising everyone to use a local flower company, or Sherries Berries or Harry and Davids…
