Applebee’s

Yes, they have a new menu but it is nothing more than «lipstick on a pig»! This place has the same slow service, cooks, and managers. The food is sub-​par at best and it has no flavor at all! Tonight while me and my wife was there the place was 80% empty and we still had bad food (dry salmon) and slow service. I see plenty of workers walking around but what they are doing was unknown. I have not been here in some time so we decided to give them a try but unfortunately we quickly found out why we have not been here in a long time and it will be an even longer time before we come back. I can say my server Brittany was good. That’s it and that’s all for Applebee’s for me!

I had the BEST experience today! my food was GREAT The Service was even Better. We came to AppleBee’s for my daughters birthday. Our servers went above and beyond for my daughter. The Manager Lori even came to our table to see how we were doing. I have never had that happen at any restaurant I have been to. Lori was really friendly and welcoming. My oldest daughter said Applebee’s is now her favorite place to eat!

Stop by the bar to pick up my food and Derek the Bartender gv me a free Pepsi while I waited for my new take out after getting a bad American Cheeseburger from my Dad & his Girlfriend (takeout). Btw, ladies these men are good looking. So come if u want to be treated well and look at nice looking men.
My story. Well, I asked my father & his gf to bring me an American Cheeseburger and it only had tomatoes and lettuce. Smh.
I immediately called Applebee’s and spoke to Brian who apologized and took my order and told me he will fix it. Now I didn’t want to leave my warm house but I couldn’t eat a bad hamburger.
I’m so glad I came. Such a nice Mgr. Firm handshake and made me feel special.
Or the food is delish. The onion rings r big and fresh and Derek made sure to put blue cheese on my hamburger instead of American cheese as I requested.
I say come here but ask for these men. The host was sweet. Even though it wasn’t busy but she was polite. I will be back!

They take great pride in honoring there Vets. GM Lori and server Galen was absolutely professional and great service.

Went here one night last week and was seated by what I would consider one of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met in a restaurant. Once seated, we waited for the server… We waited some more… and we waited some more… at least 10 min pass… half-​empty restaurant. Once a server finally passed, I had to get his attention because he was too timid to say «Hi guys, I’ll be right with you». After I identified him as my server, he said he would be right back, but 3 min later saw him in the corner BSing with the manager… No rush, no concern. Speaking of the manager, he saw us sitting there several times and should have stepped up to the plate and taken our order. But I guess standing around by the front door is a better idea than serving customers when you work in the food service industry. Isn’t the rule «get to your newly seated table in less than 2 min». However, because the server never returned and the manager didn’t step up to take our order — nor motivate another server to at least get us water or drinks, we rolled. Not my first bad experience here and I definitely will not be back to «try it again» because it has sub-​par food to begin with. I don’t even know why I thought it was a good idea to come here.

We really want this place to be our neighborhood grill. Every time we go. They fail. Our gig is to go to the (empty) bar after church for a burger, app. A blue moon, and a ball game. The «bartender» is so poor, we can’t even get a beer. Typically, we are the only patrons at the bar and yet we cannot get served. we tried hard, for a long time. This applebees franchise sucks.

Went to Applebee’s for a birthday dinner. Food was good, service was good … And then came the whole birthday song hoopla. We were paying our checks when the general manager who (due to my friends) previously knew it was my birthday said «you can’t leave without a birthday treat!» No that’s okay really. «No, what would you like?» And she gave me the option of cheesecake or chocolate sundae. The staff came out and sang happy birthday and gave me my «sundae» which wasn’t a sundae it was a sundae shot. It consisted of a couple pieces of what seemed to be Oreos, half a small scoop of ice cream and whipped cream all over it. Nothing fancy but a nice gesture on behalf of the restaurant… so we thought. They CHARGED us for it!!! What restaurant has ever charged for a birthday treat!!! Never have I ever been charged for this. And it was $ 2.49 for a shot… literally the size of a shot. Total crap! We had an $ 80 bill and you can’t write off $ 2.49 for a birthday «sundae shot?» Shame on you Applebee’s! Had I known you would’ve charged me for it I would’ve said the hell with it. Will never go there for any type of celebration again #dobetterApplebees

I ordered online and when I got home noticed they didn’t give me salad dressing for my salad, so I had to drive all the way back. When I got back the worker told me to go wait and he would bring it to my car when he was done doing something. 25 minutes went by and finally got my salad dressing that they forgot to give me in the first place. Awful customer service.

Cant comment on the food. Came in on a Saturday night and we were promptly seated but no server came to talk to us at all for ten minutes. Safe to say we went to a different restaurant.

Asked for breadsticks, were told that each breadstick is 39¢…when we asked for 4, we were offered a basket for $ 1.99. When we got the basket…4 breadsticks! Of course we brought this discrepancy to our waiters attention… four individually for $ 1.20 or a basket of 4 for $ 1.99! Yea, right!

This is one of my regular places to eat in Waldorf. The food is standard Applebees. For an appetizer try the hot pretzel sticks with cheese dip. You will not want to share them! Gotta love the $ 3 Long Island teas too. TV screens are strategically located showing games or the news. Most of the staff is pretty friendly, especially Marcy and the hostess Marta. The manager Lori makes a point of going around to patrons making sure everything is ok. Applebees bills itself as a neighborhood grill, and this one definitely is.

Too bad I can’t give this place 0 stars. First off, let me say that I wish that I lived near Waldorf so that I could consistently NOT give this place my business. I took my family there for dinner because every other decent chain restaurant had over a half hour wait. Applebees was half packed and we soon learned why. There was a clown in there making balloon animals. I felt obligated to get my kids balloons and tip this guy for doing it. We got the spinach dip and it was good as usual, but we ran out of chips with half the dip left and the waitress didn’t offer any more chips. All 4 of us sat with empty cups while the waitress visited the table twice. The third time I asked for refills. When I got the check, I was charged full price for both of the kids drinks that were supposed to come with the kids meal. Also our 2 for $ 20 was $ 22.50 and the waitress couldn’t explain why. She said it was because my wife got a loaded baked potato, which was already it’s separate charge. She brought the check back minus the drinks but still overcharged, so I took the difference out of her tip (which she shouldn’t have gotten anyways since she sucked so bad). I got the shrimp and chicken which wasn’t that great, but it wasn’t the food that made me hate this place. It was the creepy clown and the shitty waitress. I’m glad that I will never have to go to this place again as I live about 4 hours away. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. Hell, Burger King’s dollar menu would have made me happier than this.

These five stars are for the bartender making a drink I made up! Boi I was in heaven, he didn’t have what I wanted so I made up a drink he put all the fixings and a punch in it!!! My food was steaming hot and great tasting, well seasoned! Yes chicken and shrimp. Um good! Bees I will be returning!!!
