Trenoi is absolutely doing things right. Your greeted by a receptionist, there’s a cozy waiting room, magazines, snacks, and a cup of coffee if you like. They have several stations, a color bar, and it’s brightly lit and spacious. I was ready to chop my long hair all off. It’s my first time having super short hair… And Kristen has so many hours of training that I was in and out in under an hour! Great parking, close to the highway, and good hours too!

After getting a horrible cut at another Salon, I called TreNoi to see if they could fix it! Michael the owner was super nice and understanding. He got me in right away. I met with Emily who listened to me vent and gave me an amazing haircut! So happy I was able to stumble upon this salon. I am so grateful for them that I am actually writing this review less than a half hour after leaving :) I will definitely be back!

Went in there with some dry, fragile hair and walked out with shiny, healthy locks. Ask for Lauren!!! She’s an amazing stylist and took the time to listen to what I wanted and more importantly she did what I asked and took off little by little (as I’m trying to grow my hair out and only wanted the split ends gone). Nothing is worse than having your hair hacked off, pretending it looks good, then leaving miserable and upset. Fortunately that was not the case! Had an awesome experience here! I’ve never been more happy with a cut than this one! The place is clean and the employees were all super nice! Definitely found my new salon! :)

I got my hair done by Sara V and I could not be happier. I’m very particular with my hair but wanted to add some color for spring/​summer. She really took her time to listen to what I wanted and suggested doing a soft ombré for a more natural look, and it turned out perfect! She used to be a hairdresser in the L.A. area and you can really tell by her knowledge and techniques. I used to go to Newbury St salons, but will be going to see Sara at TreNoi from now on!

Sara V is by far the best stylist I’ve ever had. Not only has she made me the perfect shade of blonde on many occasions but she has also been able to correct failed attempts by other stylists. Whether you are going light or dark I highly recommend booking your next appointment with Sara !

I seldom take the time to write reviews as its not too often that I truly feel I’ve encountered an establishment who goes so far above and beyond for customer satisfaction that I MUST make sure others know how exceptional they are. I cannot rate Tre Noi highly enough; from the elegant atmosphere to the warm and welcoming staff it was a lovely experience beginning to end. I like to be able to get in, have a fantastic and friendly stylist who knows their stuff, does a great job, executes in a timely manner (true story… many years ago I had a girl who took more than a hour for just a wash/​cut/​dry) and feel like I got a million dollar cut at a reasonable price. Alana was so wonderful I could not be happier with her and Tre Noi and with all the salons out there I truly feel you’d be doing yourself a disservice not to see her at least once!!!

Krissy and Kristen are amazing! I am a blonde and they have accommodated every shade and whimsy I’ve had for the past few years. Their desk staff is smart, proficient and sweet. They run on time, keep up with the latest looks and trends and keep me looking fresh.

Staff at TreNoi were friendly and welcoming. Kristen gave me A+ highlights and a hair cut.
Services are extremely PRICEY!
Full highlight, cut, blowdry cost me $ 180 .NOT INCLUDING TIP. I have shorter hair, a little past my chin. Imagine if I had shoulder length hair? Salons on Newbury Street have never charged me that price.
I was excited. I thought that I had finally found the right hair salon in Wakefield… until I had to dish out over $ 200.

Chrissie gave me a root color that was much darker than my ends, then refused to acknowledge her mistake, and charged me additional $ 60 for masking the problem with additional highlights.
The full story:
Looking at all the positive reviews I had high expectations for TreNoi. I came in for a consultation to see if they can fix my «zebra» pattern from getting my roots colored at another salon with slightly different shades each time. Chrissie told me it was a piece of cake, since they actually weigh the color mix and record the formula. I told her multiple times that I want my dark blonde roots to be colored to match my lighter sun-​bleached ends. She offered to also do partial highlights to break up the existing bands of color, and that made sense.
The result looked good with my hair down, as the highlight masked any issues, and I tipped her 20% of the total bill of $ 125. However, next morning when I saw my pulled back hair in the bright daylight, I got very upset — the root color was much darker than the darkest band I had, and was nowhere near my end color.
I called Chrissie to fix my hair. She talked down to me like to a 5 year old, telling me how she did the darker color intentionally, otherwise it would have look ridiculous. Yet, next time she was doing to make it lighter … well, by that logic, it would look ridiculous next time!
I had to make time to go to the salon to fix my hair, which is not an easy thing to do between a job and a baby. She put more bright highlights around my hairline, but she did it in a strange way, so that I got chunky streaks above my ears and on top of my head when my hair is pulled back, yet the temple areas were noticeably darker, with almost no highlights there. Worse yet, she charged me another $ 60 for fixing her mistake! I should have made a scene there, but this is not in my nature, so I just hope to spare someone else a similar experience with this review.
My previous salons also occasionally messed up my root color (one time way too dark, another way too light), but they always apologized profusely and fixed their mistakes free of charge. Clearly, TreNoi does not understand the concept of retaining their well-​tipping customers and the power of reviews.

My search for perfect highlights ends here!!! After being disappointed with other salons, I decided to give TreNoi a try. I can honestly say that I have never been more satisfied in my life with my highlights (and I have been getting my hair highlighted for the past 12 years)! The precision and attention to detail that Krissy used left me with gorgeous highlights that are seamless. You can see zero root, so much so that it almost looks like my hair naturally grew in with these gorgeous blonde highlights. This gives me piece of mind that my hair will look beautiful for my wedding this summer. In addition, Krissy took the time to teach me her techniques while blow drying my hair to perfection. You won’t be disappointed with the TreNoi Salon team!

I loved it here! I went today after 6 months without a hair cut, and new to the area. I have salon anxiety since I was fortunate to have a mother as my personal hairstylist until she passed over a year ago. From my time on the phone with Michael, one of the owners, to the receptionist, to Chrissy, who styled my hair, it was a wonderful experience. They were so inviting, the place was clean, decorated beautifully and had that calming spa-​feel. Chrissy is also an owner and not only did she cute, blow out and curl my hair, she took the time to show me how she did it so I could do the same. She was so nice and my hair looks and feels fabulous! So happy to find a place I was comfortable in!

By far, the best salon I’ve ever been to! I went in with a complete hair disaster from store bought BLACK hair dye from a drugstore (yes, I know shame on me) and they got it down to a nice medium brown! I’m a super indecisive pain in the butt so, I decided the next morning, I wanted it tweaked a bit and they had me come in right away with no appointment. Michael greeted me with a smile, a cappuccino and created an absolutely flawless color, cut and style! If you’re looking for a stylist, look no further…

I’ve been getting my hair done by Chrissy for 3 or 4 yrs now and was thrilled when she started up TreNoi. The place is beautiful but more importantly the staff does a fantastic job. I can only speak about Chrissy since I havent let anyone else touch my hair since finding her. Colorings are great and she does such a great cut. I’ve had her do a few updos for weddings and they came out great and very quick too. Everyone there is super friendly and outgoing and make you feel like you’ve known them all for years. Highly recommend trying them out!

TreNoi is a great salon in Wakefield, MA. The stylists also do events and will travel to you. I found TreNoi as I was looking for my wedding stylist. When I met Krissy and Mike I fell in love with their outgoing personalities and drive to run a successful business.
Krissy was the hair stylist for my wedding and she did an unbelievable job. Krissy did my hair, my 5 bridesmaids updos and my mom’s updos all on her own, in a little over 4 hours. Her work is great and she produced the exact hair styles that we all requested.
From my hair trail, to emails and my wedding day-​Krissy was always professional and sweet. I highly recommend this business for weddings in MA!

Jessica ASKS QUESTIONS AND LISTENS: what are my goals? (growing it out, avoiding layers, etc.);
Jessica has an ARTIST’s EYE: perhaps this cut will suit the shape of your face, and this color will work with your skin tone., etc.
Jessica knows the LATEST TECHNIQUES: When she does color, she matches your roots, middle and ends. I get compliments on my color from complete strangers! She has straightened my hair and it lasted a long time, and grew out beautifully.
I have been to stylists on Newbury, Paris, Georgetown, DC, Chicago, NYC. Yes I have paid several hundred. Not impressed? Neither was I. Stylists who don’t have an artists’ eye cannot hide behind cheap champagne, skinny black jeans and Louboutins. Take advantage of this local talent, save yourself the hassle of taking half a day to get your hair done in Boston. Book an appointment with Jessica, or anyone else she recommends. Just hope I can still get an appointment with Jessica when I try:)
