The Optical House

I have been one of Dr. Violette’s patients since 2003, and The Optical House is superb. He is such a nice guy, and the rest of the office staff is so kind as well.
The wait time here is never long; if you made an appointment, you won’t be waiting around forever to meet with someone.
Unless there is something wrong with your eyes, the appointment is very quick, but you won’t feel rushed or unattended. Dr. Violette will always answer any questions that you have about your eyes or if you have any concerns, and he does so with a smile. Definitely a positive and friendly atmosphere here!

I had a wonderful experience today. Excellent customer service. I had a through exam by Dr. Violette I have complicated history. I left very satisfied.

Everyone was extremely nice and courteous and made me feel very comfortable. I had to wait a few minutes while Dr. Violette finished with another patient, which was no big deal, and they apologized numerous times for the wait.
I’ve only gone here a couple times but I will continue to go back for my eye appointments and eye-​wear needs.

I arrived here on a random weekend night on the hunt for some really high end sunglasses. I was sick of purchasing $ 10 pairs from convenience stores while out driving, only to have them last less than three months and I’d be back at the same spot picking up yet another pair.
Those days are hopefully, finally behind me as I received amazing service from Ken here who helped me find the perfect pair for my face and lifestyle. I went with polarized Costa del Mar’s, a company I had never heard of but instantly fell in love with the moment they rested on my bridge. I had tried on almost 25 pair before finally settling on these. Again, Ken gave me spectacular service as he walked me through the pros and cons of each pair I had set aside that were in the «maybe» pile. I probably spent an hour here deciding since the price tag was so steep.
The coolest part was a special, polarized parrot I could look at. When I wasn’t wearing the polarized lenses, I couldn’t see the little guy. I put on the «better» pair of glasses and bam! There he was. I was mystified and then likely sold on getting the higher end glasses.
I met the Optometrists here and they all seemed like a really great group of guys, asking me if I needed any help while other employees were busy assisting different customers. Top notch organization and I couldn’t recommend them more.

Dr Peter Violette and his staff are great. Get your next exam and eye glasses from the Optical house. You won’t be disappointed.

You’re not just a number at the Optical House like you are at the big franchises. The staff treats you like family. Dr Violette, Pat the optician and the rest of the staff have many years of experience and are very competent. My annual eye exam this week resulted in Dr Violette discovering an eye disease in both my eyes. He immediately called an ophthalmologist close by who saw me the same day. Fortunately, it was caught early and I’m now being treated, and should do fine. Thanks Dr Violette for the good catch!

I had my first eye appointment today with Dr. Violette, and it was phenomenal! He took me on time during the late morning, did a thorough investigation of my eyes using up to date equipment, and was personable yet very detailed. He listened to the problems I was having with my eyes, gave his recommendations, and didn’t try to «sell» me on any type of contact lens. He also gave me the opportunity to try many different lenses to see how they fit my eyes. My next appointment is in a week for a follow up. That’s never happened with any other eye doctors! I would give Dr. Violette and his office 5 stars. They were friendly, efficient, and professional! I would highly recommend this business to my friends and family!

Your eyes are very important, and they should be cared for by only the very best. The people here are very friendly and knowledgeable. This team of eye doctors takes a very scientific and high tech approach to eye care. There is no rushing of the patients here and if you have an emergency, they will take care of you and they will be able to see you quickly.
