South County Eye Physicians & Surgeons

I was doing some hobby metalwork and I ended up with some sharp brass metal shavings in my eye which damaged my cornea. I lived with the problem for a few days and when it got no better I went to see Dr. Coughlin at South County Eye Physicians and Surgeons for help. Dr. Coughlin was meticulous in removing the metal from my eye and he prescribed some ointments that I would apply to my eye two times a day. A few days after starting the ointments, I woke up on Sunday morning with my eye swollen shut and full of liquid. I called South County Eye Physicians and Surgeons and left them a message on their machine. Less than half an hour later, Dr. Coughlin himself called me back and asked me to meet him at their office. At about 9 am on a Sunday morning, Dr. Coughlin met me at his otherwise closed office to look at my eye and make sure I was OK. He found that I had an allergic reaction to one of the ointments and he prescribed another which worked out great. It’s been two years or so since this happened, and my eye is for the most part fully healed and feels completely normal. I had an absolutely top-​notch experience with Dr. Coughlin and South County Eye Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Z is the best eye doctor I’ve ever encountered. He is so conscientious and thorough and he even electronically zaps my prescriptions over to my pharmacy so by the time I get there they are filled. I couldn’t ask for better care.
