I asked S&S to come in to remove a lot of asbestos from miles of basement pipes and some tiles. They were courteous and highly efficient, and their price was very fair. I’ve had several other abatement companies estimate that they’d take 3 – 4 days to remove all the asbestos, but these guys did it for around the same price in about eight hours, which I can only say is AWESOME because if it didn’t happen in a day, a part of my house would have been untouchable for that time. They finished so quickly only because their team is big (there were 10 or more guys who came in?), whereas I’d guess the others had smaller teams. I highly recommend S&S if you have any asbestos removed, but just a warning: they are booked over a month in advance, so you’d have to call in early and be ready for that.

These guys were absolutely great! professional, knowledgable, nice and helpful. Like the rest of these reviews they exceeded my expectations. Also, the cost was fair. Working with Bill and his company was a very simple experience. They were all very nice and helpful through the process of removing our asbestos. Talk about doing a GREAT job! These guys are fabulous. They came and removed a giant cast iron boiler from my awkward and strangely set up basement. They worked fast, cleaned up very thoroughly and gave us a better price than any other quote we got. They were prompt, helpful and super efficient. Very highly recommended.

My wife and I suspected the house we were in the process of buying had asbestos in the basement. I called S & S and they met me at the house and inspected the insulation. 3 hours later Paul had a written estimate on remediation costs and procedures for me. Very friendly and knowledgeable in his field. Extremely sympathetic to my hazardous materials fears.
