Essentially overpriced low income housing with high ceilings and crown molding. Most Neighbors in our building are loud and obnoxious. Going on third year just because of difficulties finding year round housing that takes pets in the area. Customer service and maintenance has gone downhill drastically since they changed ownership last winter. If you aren’t looking to buy in the area and can afford one of the nicer units at 1500 – 1700 a month then it’s a decent enough place. We pay 1300 for a 1 bedroom middle unit with no balcony or extra space. In the end I can’t fault them for taking advantage of the market but I’m counting the days till we can leave for good.

I have lived here for eight years. In that time the place has gone from quiet to filled with college kids; from clean to covered with mold; from safe to having half or more of the outdoor lights burned out. To put it simply: they have not and do not keep up with the problems that arise once a place is 10+ years up and yet, the price of rent as gone up by more than 50%! A few other problems here: the kitchen’s cabinets are so high you cannot reach to the back of the second shelves(I am 5’8), the appliances are bottom of the line(and if one fails you have to fight tooth and nail to get it replaced), the office often forgets to inform the Maintenance that something is wrong — then the management will not pay to have things fixed properly(one example: when a friends master suit flooded because of backed up gutters it took the office over a day to respond — after multiple phone calls — and then they dried out the rug, did not replace it, and did not put the insulation beneath the rug back in. All winter their bedroom was freezing!)

Nice, clean place to live. Respectful neighbors for the most part. Children are the exception as this is a non-child friendly place and there is no playground or anywhere for them to go. So they might be in the driveways or underneath your window or screaming at the pool. Dog owners mostly clean up the messes and have their dogs on leashes. There is a playground for them at least. Maintenance is responsive as long as the problem can be solved with a bandaid. They would rather you move out before they deal with any major issues which means if something happens to your unit, you’ll end up living with it. Plan on having your rent raised every year and there is no negotiating the rent. You are not a valued tenant, you are the bottom line.

I love this apartment complex! It is a quiet place hidden in South County Commons. The neighborhood is filled with plenty of amenities close by. The apartments themselves are very spacious and clean. The staff are always helpful. Maintenance calls get completed within 2 days of request. Not much else to say but I definitely recommend this place.
