Flowerthyme

Joy at Flowerthyme created flower arrangements for my elopement in Newport, RI in August. The flowers came out stunning and she was so easy and helpful to work with. All our communication was over the phone and through e-​mail and Joy called anytime that she had a question about what exactly I wanted. She was responsive, friendly and tried to save me money where she could. The flowers were delivered on time and stayed perfectly for hours. They also survived the car ride home to CT and in total lasted about a week. I would highly recommend Flowerthyme for your flower needs. Just so you know, I ordered a bouquet, 3 table arrangements, a boutonnière and a flower collar for my dog.

I recently was planning my engagement proposal in Newport and wanted to have some nice floral arrangements for the special event. I looked at a few pictures online and then sent them to Joy to give her an idea as to what I was looking for. We spoke a few times on the phone about the arrangements and then I left everything up to her.
I was nervous about not seeing the flowers before my proposal, but when we approached the site and I saw the flowers, I couldn’t have been happier. They were perfect and my fiancé absolutely loved them!
Having zero experience in picking out flowers, Flowerthyme really made me look like an expert that day. I highly recommended them for any special occasion! I will definitely use them again!

I lived locally in Wakefield for 24 years before I recently moved out of state and always used them for personal flowers, events, and wire out orders. I’ve always been impressed and never disappointed with their professionalism and creativity that comes out of this local business. The owner, Joy, always is so upbeat and helpful with selections and her expertise when it comes to choosing the perfect arrangement for the occasion. Even today I called her to send birthday flowers for my daughter even though I live on the west coast now. I would happily recommend her shop to anyone.

I have to review Flowerthyme and Joy because I was absolutely thrilled with our wedding flowers. Every detail from the alter arrangements to my perfect bridal bouquet was just what I had been hoping for. Joy did a great job of meeting with me to discuss flowers, colors and decorating ideas. I love color and flowers but am not an expert. She was very helpful in guiding me to the final decisions all of which were beautiful. I would find photos of inspiration and she would tailor them to suit our venue and color scheme. She was great about assessing how many pieces would be needed to make the reception look great. We were married on September 24^th, 2011 and she was very thoughtful about which flowers would be available in late September and look great for the wedding. I always felt heard and understood by Joy and that is a great feeling when planning a wedding in less than 6 months. I can’t thank Flowerthyme enough. Now I only have photos left of the flowers but I will treasure them along with all of our wonderful memories.
