I’m not a big doughnut fan, but you can’t beat 3.99 for a dozen of doughnuts that my family will enjoy! The line wasn’t too bad, which I thought it would be because of the discount. Nothing too special about it, but I did find out that they do not make their doughnuts here but they actually come from the Raleigh location(don’t see the difference) but as stated not a big doughnut person. The doughnuts were as fresh as they were going to get but my son did enjoy 3 before we made it home!

Tried the new caramel mocha coffee & an apple fritter. Yummy on this cold day! Drive-thru folks are always so friendly.

This place NEVER has donuts! They are always out of whatever we want to order. At first we thought it was because we went late in the day and they ran out but the last two times we came before 10 in the morning they were out too. They have not had pumpkin spice donuts 9 out of 10 times we’ve been and their excuse is that the truck didn’t deliver them. No excuse! Bad management and lackadaisical customer service.

Very clean. Walked in to get 40 dozen without any notice. Staff was very happy and very helpful. Packed up my 40 dozen smiling all the way. Out the door in 20 minutes. Great experience. Thank you!

As much as I wanted to give five star I cannot. This shop is somewhat a half shop whereby the product is made in Raleigh then shipped to the storefront doughnuts are than semi heated and glazed as if made freshly on sight. Dining room is never fully kept clean but also not horribly dirty. Just grab a seat brush off your table and enjoy a cup of coffee. My other problem is that decaf lovers cannot have any of the premium lattes, or mochas not sure why the corporate gurus never thought of that but perhaps that is one reason why Dunkin doughnuts is infantraiting the area. As for the display case virtually empty but I think that was Gods way of saying I really don’t need to put those deliciously amazing doughnuts into my body. The staff here is very polite and I love that they give a discount to military and veterans. As for the manager thanks for coming late on a day that I was here it sure made me laugh.

It’s a doughnut! And a very tasty one at that… takes a lot of willpower to have just 1.

Krispy Kreme is an aquired taste and I just can’t acquire it. I’ve tried several of the flavored donuts and the glaze just overpowers everything. It just all tastes like cane sugar. Also, there is no substance to these donuts. I’d much rather have a dense cake donut like the ones I get at Daylight Donuts in Raleigh.

Clean store but sometimes clueless and not very friendly personnel. We get all kinds of coupons from KK but redeeming them at this store is more difficult than redeeming frequent flyer miles. I wonder if they get a bonus for rejecting coupons? Not impressed. Lack of customer focus. Why issue coupons if you don’t want to redeem them? Too bad but we’ll be going back to Dunkin Donuts

I adore Krispy Kreme. I have been known to actually have dreams about the«Hot Now» sign and eating a warm, scrumptious, melt-in-your-mouth glazed doughnut. When the Wake Forest locale opened I was SOOOOO excited. Now I won’t have to drive all the way to Person Street in Raleigh to get some of the KK goodness. The bad part about it? Not I won’t have to drive all the way to Person Street in Raleigh to get some of the KK goodness. It is WAY too accessible. The staff is always on top of whatever I order, whether it be a single order or a dozen(or several) for the office. The only bad thing is that you can definitely tell when you bite into one of the«Hot Now» glazed, it isn’t the same as actually getting it off of the just baked rack in Raleigh. The ones here in WF are definitely«Hot Now» because they are reheated. Minimal problem though– it won’t keep me away, that’s for sure.

I love a Krispy Kreme and have an appreciation for buying them when the hot light is on but this store has horrible service. Over the last year I have tried to get past the lack of smiles and cleanliness but I give up… I guess this Carolina girl will have to learn to appreciate dunkin’ donuts, at least in Wake Forest.

If you like donuts, there’s none better. I miss the Cruellers which were my all time favorites… but hot glazed is not too bad either. They just don’t make em any better than this!

I love Krispy Kreme, and I’m glad to have it here in Wake Forest. The drive-thru is nice. Apparently you can always get a hot doughnut. They don’t make them here so they put the hot glaze on them. Don’t get me wrong, they are great. BUT… I can taste a difference from the ones off the belt at the main Krispy Kreme’s like the one on Person Street in Raleigh. You can taste/feel the slight crunch of the skin, while on the fresh made ones it just completely melts in your mouth. Having said that, it’s like being offered a million dollars or a million and one dollars. Well, I’ll take the million and one, but I’ll be dang happy with«just» a million. :-)

On 7÷7÷2010 at 7:17am I waltzed into the brand new Krispy Kreme of Wake Forest and was greeted by more than a dozen smiling faces and the smell of freshly fried donuts! Yummmm! The store has a wide retail counter with an open concept with multiple associates available to assist you in fulfilling your every fried pastry wish. You then have to decide just how many donuts, and which flavors you — just — must — have! I selected an assorted dozen to bring home to my hungry household. The associate told me he had hot fresh donuts for me coming right off the conveyor belt, just behind the donut case. Yummmm! There are tables to sit and enjoy your donuts, as well as a drive through window so you do not even have to get out of your car to get your yummmm on. In 7 minutes I was in and out with a dozen delicious donuts to bring happiness to everyone at home! Thanks Krispy Kreme for moving up to Retail Drive to bring the yummmm factor to all of the smiling people of Wake Forest!
