Highly recommend Ambrose Heating and Cooling. I called today, as my heat pump was making a grinding noise. I suspected the worst, after reading online that my symptoms sounded like the inducer motor needed to be replaced. Chris was here within 2 hours.
We’ve all heard horror stories about what could have happened next. I could have been handed an estimate for $ 1,000 to replace the part, with a doomsday scenario that the heat could stop working at any moment.
Instead? The verdict is that my inducer motor needed to have the mount tightened. Grinding noise fixed! As I pulled out the checkbook, figuring there would at least be a trip fee, Chris said… «No charge». «Eventually when the motor actually does give out, I hope you’ll give me a call».

Truly as good as it gets. Prompt response, diagnosed over phone (even tried a few things to save a service call), set time according to my schedule, and showed up as promised, even a bit early. Pricing was as quoted and the work was quick, clean, and verified. Honesty, promptness, and fair pricing. The owner does the work! Highly recommended.

Prompt service, fair prices, and overall nice guy. At different times both air conditioning units at my house failed. Both times he was at the house on time, the problem was quickly diagnosed, and the units repaired. What more could you ask for?
