Westside is great because of their selection. If you’re looking for more obscure wine, beer, liquor, they’re likely to have it here. If you have questions about your adult beverage needs, they also have knowledgeable and helpful staff who are more than happy to answer your questions and serve you. The last time I went, I had a guy come up to me within 30 seconds of entering the store to ask if I needed help finding something.
I do find the store a bit difficult to navigate and find what I’m looking for sometimes, but just ask. They’re happy to direct you to whatever you’re seeking.
The prices here are reasonable. I have found better prices elsewhere for certain wines, but generally speaking, they try to be competitive here, unless you’re looking for really obscure items.

I haven’t been here in a while and I used to go here for wine mostly. I came here for beer a couple of days ago and it sucked. The beer area is very disorganized and has no theme, rhyme or reason, just beer here and there. The creepy beer guy is also an unhelpful arrogant jerk. And to add insult to injury, the craft beer prices are the highest I have seen anywhere.

Absolutely the best liquor store in the midwest! Huge selection on all types of liquor ranging from wine to spirits. Also there are deals such as the whiskey of the month where I’ve got 30% off on fantastic brands like red breast for example. I believe they have 150 types of beer (this is a rough estimate but they have an excessive amount to say the least) to choose from. If anything just for nostalgic purposes its worth a stop.

The best beer and wine selection in St. Cloud! They’ve got loads and loads of craft and import, most at reasonable prices and marked with Beer Advocate tags. A lot is refrigerated too. A friend of mine moved to another city and on a trip back, he had to stock up on some German import because it’s impossible to find there. We’re pretty lucky to have a joint like this.

Westside is easily the best liquor store in St Cloud, and really is one of the best I have ever been to. Their beer and wine selections are incredible. Whether you’re looking for a single bottle, a six pack, or something entirely different, Westside has it. Their liquor selection is also quite impressive.
If there were to be a drawback it would be price, but really I think it should be expected that rarer items would cost more. If you directly compare cheaper, more common products to other stores in town, there is not a substantial difference.
To me, Westside Liquor is about as good as it gets.

While staying at a nearby hotel, I just randomly popped into this place in hopes of scoring an interesting 6-pack to get drunk on in my hotel room. I was absolutely fucking shocked beyond belief when an enourmous beer selection, ALL REFRIDGERATED, unfolded before me. I ended up spending almost an hour browsing the brews and left with over $ 100 worth of craft beer and Belgians. The only thing that keeps me from issuing five stars is that the checkout person was a grumpy twat.
I went back to my hotel room, watched late night TV, had an impromptu beer tasting, and got totally fucked up. It was awesome!

If you love selection, especially microbrews, this is the only liquor store in Saint Cloud! I stand in awe as I stare at all the choices and it’s wonderful! The staff is very knowledeable about different beer styles.
Also worth mentioning that they have an attached smoke shop with a walk-in humidor.

As a new commuter to the metropolis called St. Cloud (okay, really Waite Park,) I had qualms about finding essential services. My fears about libations were squelched upon entering Westside Liquor. It’s HUGE! The wines are arranged somewhat randomly, but most everything that you’d want is there. They were out of Surly Bender in the beer dept, but usually have it. They also have a good cigar annex next door.

If your looking for good wine, beer, or spirits you do not have to go far in the Saint Cloud/Waite Park area. This place has it all. A huge selection that rivals many a California store. And the prices aren’t bad either.
