Was only referred by them thru property management. Strike 1: didn’t show up on the day was scheduled for which was day before my vacation. Strike 2: bothering while on vacation to let me know he’d be in the area the day I arrive back which he knew bout. Strike 3: couldn’t decide on a day he can stop by until letting me know the next week. If you’re looking for reliability or a place to trust in… its not here

I hate writing negative things but I called and left a message a week ago regarding a water leak out of my refrigerator and they never returned my call… hmm. How do I rate no response or follow up? I ended up fixing it myself so I guess I saved money & they lost business.

Our washing machine’s tub was«shaking it off» during the spin cycle. I called Wada’s Appliance and Service and was immediately impressed. The person told me he could come over this mid-afternoon. Concerned about the service charge, I asked for an estimate over the phone. He quoted me a «ball park» figure of $ 100. I told him I was about to buy a new washing machine. He told me that the newer washing machines were junk and I should repair my current washer. He called at lunchtime and told me he could come over in 20 minutes — he came in 10. After repairing the tub, I asked if they accept«plastic» or checks. He said they will mail me the bill. Apparently, they are very trusting and do not do «COD»(cash on delivery). As he left, he told me the bill should be around $ 85(cheaper than the phone quote). When I received the bill, the service charge was only $ 72! Can’t get better than that! They repair washers, dryers, stoves, and refrigerators too. Hope I wouldn’t be requiring their services in the near future but it’s very reassuring to know I have a reliable and trustworthy service person to contact!

We found water damage in one of the bedrooms Sunday(the last Sunday in 2013, 2 days before new year). The following day(Monday 12/30/2013) the plumber came found out it was the refrigerator(that’s a different review). We contacted our usual appliance guy(Joe from Joe’s Appliance) but he was busy. We were referred to Wada’s. We made contact and was in touch with Gordon. We told him the problem, he went online right away and checked for the part. Turned out there were only 2 of those parts on the entire island. He told us he will go and pick up the part before coming. He showed up in the afternoon, took a look at the problem assembly(water feed to the dispenser and ice maker) and went to work. Within 20 minutes, the source of our problem was fixed. He was fast, easy going, did what he say and we will definitely use Wada’s again.

Called them to schedule a repair for my clothes dryer on Wed 3÷6÷13. They were able to come out that same day. I didn’t have the correct model # of my dryer so they weren’t able to bring out the correct parts. They arrived at my house(Mililani), got the model # and called Appliance Parts to order it. Left my house to pick up the part in Waipio and came back to install it. That’s what I call awesome customer service. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to my family and friends.
