It is a very small venue located inside Seafood City. It is a national chain so if you’ve been in one before it’s not too different. I don’t buy many things from Red Ribbon. I don’t care for the cheese atop the ensamada. The ube and mango rolls are good. Not a fan of their haupia. What I do like, and come back for special occasions, is their mango cake. It is delicious and colorful. They will do the writing on there for free but don’t give you too much choices in color. Customer service is spot on. When it’s busy, sales staff will jump on to provide me the service. Pretty happy with this location. I’ve been to other locations where customer service is almost non-existent.

Red Ribbon is a chain of bake shops that sell Filipino baked goods, caked etc… There are two in Waipahu. One in Seafood City and one in Jolliebe! Both have identical inventory. Although I look Filipino and have a Filipino last name via my husband, I am not Filipino. So the one of the risks I take when shopping at a Filipino bakery is the worker having a full on conversation with me in Filipino then I have to sheepishly let them know that I cannot speak Filipino. Then given the who raised you look! But it would take too long to explain so I just give the impression that I am just a sad excuse for a filipina. Is it worth the humiliation and false guilt! Yes! Soooo worth it! My favorite by far though is their UBECAKE — beautiful lavender caked layered with a light vanilla whipped cream. Super moist and yummy! They have a huge variety of desserts so good! Slamat po everyone!

Not the best but will do when one is missing the Philippines. Cakes do taste like previously frozen and there are better ones out there but is ok if you’re craving Filipino desserts.

Gross! I literally had hair in my cake! Not just on top, but cooked with the cake batter! Never again! The manager said he would follow up but he never did! Shame!

I came here when Jollibee first opened on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Red Ribbon is right across from Jollibee and they are both a part of the Seafood City Supermarket chain family. Unlike the other location at the Waipahu Shopping Plaza where Jollibee is located, I didn’t really see much of their cake selection. However, they had a ton of their pastry section. They had mamons, ensiamadas, brownies, mango bars, macaroons, and many more. They are located right by the cash registers right in front of the entrance to entice you to buy some sweets as you enter or as you leave. It is kinda funny that they have this here because ironically there is another bakery type of shop which opened before Red Ribbon which is Valerios. The staff and customer service is really nice. I always get greeted when I am around looking at the sweets. Their prices for everything is decent. You can get mamon packs for around 5 – 10 bucks. Individual pieces range in around a buck something. This is a good place to stop by after eating a meal whether you are at Grill City or Jollibee.
