I paid for my wife to get a change in hair color for Christmas and he only did highlights. $ 155 down the drain to only tell her to come back again and he will charge more to fix HIS mistake. Reviews must come from his family and friends cause she made an appointment and was pushed to the side for locals that he knew. Great as a barber but sucked everywhere else!

I have FINALLY found my go-​to guy! Enough jumping around from one salon to another to find the perfect one.
This was a last minute appt. I wanted to go in yesterday (Thursday) but they were busy so I came in today. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my hair to be cut. 30 minutes & I was done! And I love it! He talks story with you (which I like), but does his job perfectly. Thank you Toney!

Take my advice… looking for a Hairstylist who’s Fast and Edgy… oh yeah see TONEY and he will make your hair extra fabulous!!! *affordable *dependable *honest

Worst haircut ever!!! Gave Tony one star cause the haircut cost $ 15, but on second thought he should have paid me since it seems like he’s still learning how to cut hair. Only short cut he seems to know how to do is short short which requires only an electric shear to buzz your hair. Blending hair is definitely not his thing. Haircut took all of 7 or 8 minutes to cut, maybe that’s why his cost is cheap!

Love love toney been seeing him for 2 yrs now ;) this place was hidden but if you find it you got the treasure.

Stopped by to get my hair relayered no wait time, friendly customer service n Toney was very professional not to mention he was easy to find. Thanks Toney my hair looks more healthier n I’m excited with my new look!

I usually see Toney for my straight perms. Before him, I was going to another small shop and I’ve even tried freakin expensive Marsha Nadalin for straight perms and neither of them compares to the amazing result I get from using Toney’s service. The other places, it’s like I still have broomstick hair after they give me the perm. Not sure if their formulas suck or they didn’t process the perm correctly. Toney definitely knows what he’s doing, so if you have a bushy afro puff, let him take care of you. I love his mom, she’s so sweet. And she gives a nice scalp massage when she washes your hair. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to fall asleep at the sink! My son also gets his haircuts here. Even my mom and sister has seen Toney upon my referral. Parking can be difficult to find, as you have to battle the Filipinos to look for one. Usually I’m lucky when I drive up and find that one empty stall in front of his shop.

Recently moved from the mainland and had no idea where to go! So thankful for Unilocal!Toney did a great job cutting my hair! I have long hair and needed layers. He did an amazing job! Easy to make an appointment! Definitely will be going back!

So so so mad, spent my 200 dollar for nothing. I showed him the pic of the color i want, also told him i don’t mind to bleach my hair. I know it’s hard to do light color on Asian, so, I’m okay with bleach. So he did it, for like 30min. I was like, that was quick. But also so dark and brownish tone. He probably need to put color on, and no. That was the color. OMG so i said h’mmm it doesn’t look like the color i want… so he explain it… blah blah blah, so put color again… okay… it turn to a dark dark dark ash color. Okay, now at least it’s ash, but i want light-​medium ash!!!
Okay, i understand all the damage point, k? So i offer, i told him i don’t mind the bleach.
I seriously cried, i wanted so long to color my hair again, and this is what i got. My trip is coming, and i don’t have time to color it again!!!
So so so disappointed, i will refuse to pay if he is not referral from my Co worker. He totally ruined everything for me.

Toney’s style of cutting is flawless. I always get my haircut from him cause he always gets it right or good enough than any other barber I’ve ever let cut my hair. He is a cool guy to get to know, and talk to. Plus his cut is hella cheap compared to other salon for that high quality cut. Lastly, if he really like the way he cut your hair, youre garuantee a spot on his salon instagram. lol. Kay shoot Toney, killl em.

I have gone to Toney for years and he has never failed me. He has great client services skills and always know what to do with my hair when I don’t. I definitely recommend him to everybody.

He’s a hard worker who knows hair. Reasonably priced. Just make sure you book an appointment, it’s easier and convenient. I say the earlier the better because of parking. Also, if your not a cash person like me you can add the tip to your credit card total. So what are you waiting for? Make a appointment today!

Scheduling was easy.
I went in to see Toney on ny birthday for a cut and highlights. I was ready for a different look, but afraid to cut my long hair (as I have had long hair for many years). I communicated to Toney what I wanted and my hair turned out even more beautiful than I could imagine. It was truly the highlight of my birthday! Thanks so much Toney… You and your fiancé are amazing people!

Yipeedeedooda YAY!!! I am beyond happy with the service, and most of all my new hair!!! This was my first time ever doing anything drastic to my hair and Toney was so helpful, and felt confident that it’ll come out great! I got a BALAYAGE done after seeing so many pictures on Google and Instagram I knew that’s what I wanted to do to my hair.
Called the salon to schedule an appointment after reading so many great reviews and I was lucky enough to get an appointment that same day. I can tell everyone goes to see Toney cuz he’s always booked! Toney took his time on me and he wasn’t your typical stylist where they would get straight to work and not talk to you the entire time, he was lively with a great personality and made you feel welcomed at his salon.
Once my hair was done I was amazed and felt like a new person haha!!! I really loved how the highlights came out.
Price is reasonable, you get great quality for what you pay. I will definitely be coming here for touch ups!

Went to N-​Style By Toney for a long overdue haircut (my split ends were beginning to have split ends). My appointment was scheduled for 3:30 but Esther took me about 15 minutes early. She was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. It felt like talking to an old friend. The cut was only $ 25. It was my first time there and I will probably be going back there for future hair cuts. Highly recommended.

They take credit cards but TIPS MUST BE PAID IN CASH.
Parking may be difficult on the weekends due to all of the other businesses around.

Had my hair done for a military ball LOVED it! She is very friendly can’t wait to do my hair color with her :)

Went to correct my brassy hair color to a nice blonde. but left with very dark ash brown (almost black) hair. So disappointed in the outcome and price I had to pay for this. I even had to go back in to get a missed spot of blonde toned. My hair is not only dark but is left more damaged than ever. The next day I went in to Ts hair and nails (my usual salon) to get all the dead ends removed. I really regret not going to Ts hair salon first. :(but the stylist was friendly
***Update 5÷10÷13 So I washed my hair last night and I noticed some of the toner was washed off as well. This morning when I went out in the sun, my hair color got lighter. It’s not the blonde I wanted but it’s a lighter brown. Hopefully over time my hair will fade to a lighter or darker shade of blonde. So I feel a lot better now then I did when I left the Salon 2 days ago. My only major complaint is a section of my hair is a lot lighter then the rest because the stylist ran out of toner and had to make a new batch for that section. So that section of hair had less time to tone then the rest. But my overall review is I’m not completely satisfied but I am starting to adjust and like my hair color.

Update 03/​24/​2013.
As you can guess, I’m still going to Toney to get my hair cut. It’s longer now, about shoulder length. I’m going to try and resist cutting it. However, to feed my urge of getting something done to my hair, Toney put in some nice purple highlights! I’m in love. I love fact that my dark hair can cover enough for work, so it appears to still have a professional look to it vs punkish. Love it!

I’ve been going to Toney for YEARS… and in those years I’ve gone through so many colors (red, purple, pink, u name it) and styles (choppy, straight, wavy, short, long) but its always been great-​lookin!
Now that I’m older, I opt for more natural highlights, beachy looks and he’s great at that too!
He’s good with finding a style that’s great for your face (if you’re unsure) and if he knows your personality… he can match a style even better! :)
Always reasonable costs. and you know that’s important because you’ll keep coming back!

Toney is great. He always has great inputs and suggestions especially when I come in and just say «I have no idea what to do with my hair!»
He’s always happy and friendly.
His skills definitely reflect through the haircuts and hair coloring he’s done for me. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.
A plus is that Toney has great prices for haircuts.
His mother who is usually the receptionist, is always a sweetheart too :)
