Mettias Magdy, MD

Dr mettias is way better than my primary doctor that i go to him for everything now. There is never a long wait and lots of parking. I never have to pay for anything he gives free samples of medications right from his office. His staff is super friendly and so is he. He really seems like he knows what hes doing and really cares about his patients. i recommend him to anybody.

Dr Mettias has been my family’s PCP since 2010. I almost gave up on finding reliable, CARING, PCP’s since dropping my Kaiser coverage. My co-​worker recommended him and I gave him a try. Now five years later, I’ve never had a bad experience with him and his friendly staff. It does get a bit busy at the end of the month, or before and after holidays, but that is to be expected when majority of patients are walk-​in. He is the most caring, most thorough, and most spiritual PCP I’ve ever had. There is ample parking and shops all around. I enjoy having conversations with him because he obviously cares. I’m not sure if he is still accepting patients, but give them a call if you are looking for a great family PCP, I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Mettias because of his specialization in pulmonology. After meeting with him, I want to go to him as my primary care. He is mild mannered and calm, which is very comforting. He is also very thorough. I have just spent time in the hospital and with my regular doctor trying to find the source of my ailments. He asked questions that even Queen’s hospital staff didn’t think of and we are on track to finding out what caused my health issues.

I struggled with wanting to write this review because I wanted to keep this doctor a secret due to all the great things he does for his patients. But health is important and you really should come and see Dr. Mettias if you’re looking for one. Just try not to go when I’m there, I’m still trying to keep this a secret as to avoid over-​crowded-​ness during my appointments.

— never crowded, at least every time I’ve been there, 4 times now
— friendly and caring staff and nurses, no attitudes at all
— free prescription samples (if available). You can see how it affects you before buying a full prescription at the pharmacy.
— No appointment necessary. But I’m sure it helps them.
— No copay. There, I said it. And he has a good reason for it.
— and of course, there’s Dr. Mettias. He works with you on your how you want to care for your health. He explains things very well and is very patient, taking the time to make sure you understand your situation.
I have been to a couple of doctors, but this has been the greatest overall experience so far. He actually makes you WANT to go back and see him.
Take care of your health. Stop by. Just not during my appointment please. :)
