Excellent customer service! I shipped my business inventory from Los Angeles, CA to Oahu without any stress! Hawaii Transfer Company (HTC) is the best 3PL (Third Party Logistics Company) on the Hawaiian Islands. The prices are so competitive and the company employees had so much professionalism and thoughtful consideration towards our business! Russ at Waipio Gentry location was awesome — he helped me step by step through the process at the operational level… I even needed a bit of extra time to pick up a will-​call in Oahu and they were happy to accommodate me. If anyone needs a stress free way to manage logistics in Hawaii, HTC is the way to go! Thanks again!

I got a few different estimates for trucking my Matson container from Port to house and back again from several companies and Hawaii transfer was the lowest. I went into extensive detail with Hawaii transfer and they said no problem.
So come time to pay for it and get the ball rolling after I have made dates for flight, Matson container and few other things needed to be done to move to the main land I talked to the receptionist and she said «we can’t plan more than 2 weeks in advance». I asked her «so if I give you money now you can’t give me a time»? «Sorry sir but no». I said «ok then I just need to know that you are going to be there for sure so I can match it up with my other dates»? She said «I will call you back». 6 hours later they call back to tell me «We decided we are not going to do this work for you and sorry about that». I said «WHAT»?? It isn’t like we had a big argument or anything for them to be mad at me. It was a total of about 3 minutes of conversation. In other words it wasn’t like we were mad at each other they just said «no»??? Who says no to work??? What is commitment to much for these guys?
But by the 6 hours of time it took for them to get back to me I had already spoke to Island Movers because I could sense the sketchiness in Hawaii transfer and Hawaii Movers were so simple and for $ 20 more I don’t have to deal with sketchy. SOLD!
So when she called back to tell me no I won’t do work for you for no apparent reason I said «that is ok because I already got Island movers». She said «oh… ok».
Now no worries about some weird company that you are wondering if they are going to show up or not. My only question is why did Hawaii Transfer give me an estimate?
Everything turned out alright but… Under different circumstances this could have been a really bad deal. I would think twice before doing business with these people.
