The macaroons are simply heaven. I mean, really. what’s better than a macaroon… unless you decide to dip the macaroon in chocolate! That’s just a match made in heaven for sure! I will definitely be craving this place the moment we leave the island! The owner is adorable, knowledgable and friendly. Great conversation.

We walked in this place while waiting for our video to me made from the boat trip company across the street. Now I don’t know if it’s the«Minnesota nice» in me but we felt unwelcome the entire time. From eye rolling to rude comments about being out of items we wanted to purchase, I haven’t encountered such a rude shopkeeper in a long time. The food –especially the ice cream sandwich – made the trip in the store almost worthwhile. If they could have only managed a welcoming smile I would have walked out with quite a bit more!

Had read reviews on this place and wanted to get some coconut macaroons to take home. Walked into this tiny shop on our way back from Waimea canyon and there was only one lady working there, who could have been a little more pleasant. Got a few boxes of the macaroons and a box of biscotti. The biscotti looked great and I wanted to get another box, but unfortunately they were out. The macaroons were delicious and definitely worth taking home.

Macaroon cookies are to die for. Regret writing this as they may sell out before I return to buy more. If you are looking for a great local product to bring home as a gift, skip the macadamia chocolates and get these. My only fear is there won’t be enough left to share before you get home… so maybe by some other baked goods as insurance. I did!

One word for this place, YUMMY. The coconut macaroons are dipped in milk chocolate with an almond on top. Once you take a bite into it, melts in your mouth. A very cute and quaint shop. A must visit if you’re visiting the island. This place will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Yummy snacks! When you walk in the door you immediately smell all the wonderful goodies. Enjoyed the samples and walked out with chocolate dipped macaroons, coconut candy and a reminder of elementary school days, shortbread cookies.

I almost walked out of here without their famous macaroons but decided last minute I had to see what the fuss was about. OMG I’m so glad I did!!! They remind me of the old school samoa girl scout cookies(the kind they don’t make anymore since they switched cookie factories). If only I had known, I would have bought a dozen more! I know you can order them online, but shipping is pretty much half the cost of the cookie order :’( Another interesting cookie I found here was the Arare Shortbread. It’s got japanese crackers baked right in! How awesome is that? I’ve yet to try the trail mix I bought, but If it’s anything like the other two, I’m sure I’ll be amazed. The ladies here are so nice and friendly, they remind you of your favorite aunt! And the samples never stop! TIP: try everything before you leave, and make the mistake of not buying enough!

Love the cookies; I walked away with 3 packs. Mac nut, shortbread and the akare cookie. The akare is awesome with a savory nutty flavor from rice crackers? mixed in the batter. If in the area, go in and sample and grab some cookies. They are vacuum sealed and should be good for two months unopened.

The owners of our rental house left us a gift basket from this place. Everything was so yummy! So of course we had to go find the shop itself and buy more. Free cookies with $ 20 purchase! Nice!

Yes yes yes, I would liked to have a spray made out of the buttery smell that envelopes you as soon as you walk in the door. Before I saw any of their products I wanted to buy everything they were selling. The staff is so sweet and friendly encouraging you to try the many many samples of their products. A fellow customer whose eyes were glazed over kept saying, «I must have coconut cookies.» I felt like Cookie Monster was standing next to me. I tried not to spend the hundred of dollars I wanted to buying at least two of everything and settled on just a few items for gifts and ME! I bought : Two sampler packs of a trio of their granolas. Guava Granola Macadamia nut popcorn Shortbread cookies Coconut cookies Chocolate dipped macaroon(Yes, it’s true – it is fantastic!) And a couple of other bags of deliciousness that I devoured licketty split. Vegan, purist hubby doesn’t know what he is missing! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

First time I ever tried a chocolate dipped Maccaroon and fell in love! Wound up buying a whole box to bring home with me. 10 days later and they still taste fresh! The place is extremely small, basically you stand between a tabled-off corner and only two, maybe 3 skinny people can fit in the space, so don’t go thinking you’ll spend a good amount of time«browsing.» The mixes are good, the cookies are good, everything is great but the Maccaroons take the cake! My only complaint is the hours– because I was a tourist, I was leaving for excursions and sightseeing by 8 am and not getting home til evening. So when the hours are 10 – 4, it’s frustrating. I caught them one time on the way home from somewhere and then after tasting what they had to offer, I made special arrangements to be in town during business hours so that I could get more.

I first heard about Kaua’i Granola from my friend Audree. She introduced me to this awesome place when I was in Kauai for her wedding last year. I’ve loved this store ever since!
Audree gets her customized party favors and centerpieces made from here for her wedding and most recently, for her daughter’s 1st birthday party. These White Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Sticks are freaking awesome! I love the sweet & salty combination. The candy sprinkles adds an extra crunch to every bite! Cheryl had made these with dark chocolate for Audree’s wedding favors last year. CHOCOLATE-DIPPEDCOCONUTMACAROONS(box of 16 for $ 18): These have got to be the best coconut macaroons I’ve ever had! I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but these delightful clusters are hard to pass up. Love the contrast between the crunchy outside and the chewy, soft center. The sweet toasted coconut and almond topper is a nice touch. GRANOLA($ 6 for 8oz): There are 3 different flavors to choose from but I’ve only had the Guava Crunch one. Aside from the the tasty granola, each bag is generously filled with chunks of dried fruits and macadamia nuts. CARAMELMACADAMIAPOPCORN: ‘Nuff said. SAVORYCRISPS($ 7 for 6.5oz): I’m a sucker for savory chex mix, this simple snack hits the spot when I have a case of the munchies. I recently gave a girl friend a bag, she finished it in one sitting(along with a couple macaroons and a whole bag of granola, lol). COOKIES(5oz bags of full sized cookies for $ 5 or 25oz box of mini cookies for $ 18): The Oatmeal Cran and Cornflake cookies are yums! I like all of their delicious cookies, so nice and crunchy! The«Assorted» Box contains mini versions of the different cookies. A great way to sample the different flavors. Just in time for Christmas:

Heard about this place from my cousin. Their shortbread cookies are just absolutely awesome. You can definitely taste the butter and sugar that they use. I think what sets this place apart from other places is that they use only all natural ingredients. The shop owners are very nice and are very generous in handing out samples of all their items. The reason this place received five stars is because they have the BEST macaroons I have ever had. It was so good my wife wrestled all the macaroons away from me, and she doesn’t even like macaroons!

OMGTHISPLACEIS @$@$#@%@%$#%$#^#^% AWESOME! The boyfriend and I were looking for coffee and came in here… what we found was some free samples, and some of ET’s super yummy fruit turnovers! The place smells heavenly when you walk in and there are two super sweet(no pun intended) women that let you sample and do your thing until you have a question or are ready to pay The coconut turnover was a winner with the boyfriend. I loved the apricot mango one… the Espresso Granola was by far my favorite! WHYAREN’T THEREMOREREVIEWSOFTHISPLACE! Definitely check it out when you are in Waimea
