Came beer on a Sunday morning with my family. There was a 10 minute that turned into 20 minute wait. The food took over half an hour to come out. While we waited a couple actually got up and left because they had never been greeted and their order was never taken. When the food finally came it was the WRONG food, not for our table. Then it was another 15 minute wait for the right food. The food was edible, BUT the orders were all wrong. My dad didn’t even finish his pancakes because they were so dry!-

We had the tuna melt and Asian Ruben sandwich for lunch. Fries were bomb. They were thick and crispy. The Ruben was very interesting and tasty! The tuna melt, was like any I the tuna melt. Our server, Charity, was very sweet and attentive, too. It’s a nice spot in the day time, that overlooks the golf course.

Larry’s Grill has answered our long time desire to have live MUSIC at Olomana Golf Club! 2015 was so much fun. Happy Hour with good food and good friends are our favorite thing to do on Friday and Saturday nights at Larry’s Grill. 2016 can only get better. The weekly music line up is 5 Star! Added plus is Karaōke to follow. Another added plus are Monday night farmer’s market. Kawika, Randy, Yaneth, the fabulous Chefs and the entire staff take very good care us and our guests. Real old fashion hospitality and straight from the heart Aloha. Mahalo Larry’s Grill, Lynette and Bill

Last minute Friday night stop for dinner and music. Dinner and pupu-ONO! Music by Gavin Kaina and Geoff Kahapea just the way one would like to end the week! Service was excellent! The best part is it’s in beautiful Waimanalo at Olomana Golf Links and you don’t need to dress up! You won’t be disappointed! Good for the entire ohana!

Serving up typical dishes with big portions and affordable prices. Our family could have easily shared the huge pancakes included in several menu items. The main dining area offers good views of the course but is not air conditioned.

After shopping around for venues, we chose to celebrate our son’s graduation at Larry’s Grill. From beginning to end everything was wonderful! Yaneth(catering and event manager) is extremely friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. She helped me plan the event long distance and worked with me to keep the event within our budget. The food was delicious(korean bbq chicken, teri beef, rice, mac salad, rolls), and the dessert was amazing(hapa cake)! Service was excellent and I would recommend Larry’s Grill to everyone looking for a place to have a party!

They give you big portions of food and the server today was good. This place is not expensive also.

Only pub with drinks in a 4 mile east shore drive, looks a tad dated.

The hubby and I got together today for a casual local style lunch with an old friend and her adorable toddler son who are visiting the island. After the achingly slow movement in Waimanalo-bound traffic, we made it to Larry’s Grill! They have lots of parking and we got a spot right up front! This was around 11:30AM on a Saturday. Lots of open tables, with ample space between, a small corner stage, a small bar area and restrooms. There were golfers who were passing time there, cool and calm. This was my husband’s and friend’s first time here, but I remember when it was Sakura’s. The customer service was 5 stars, with pleasant waithelp who serviced everyone with smiles and who came to check on us enough times to not have us feel neglected. The food breakdown: onion rings for pupus, fish-n-chips(hubs), Club sandwich with fries(friend), grilled cheese and fries(friend’s son) & Chicken Katsu with garden salad and brown rice(me). The hubby also ordered a strawberry maragarita, yummy, cold and rimmed with salt — so refreshing on this hot Hawaiian day! The serving sizes were generous and couldn’t believe how reasonable our bill was. We all had leftovers, which means we paid once and get to eat twice? Or maybe even three times? With ceiling fans and trade winds keeping us cool, we could relax, catch up and really enjoy our time together, eat some of the most delicious local-style food and enjoy the golf course view. This place is perfect when you want to have a relaxing, filling and inexpensive breakfast, lunch or brunch and just cool out on the Windward side.

Just killed a Kimchi Reuben. Officially in heaven! Perfect sandwich after hitting the links. Great friendly service and good food on a golf course, in my home town at that. Now that’s a recipe for success.

I visited Larry’s Grill with the family for breakfast one fine morning. We decided to check it out since it changed ownership and basically to enjoy a decent breakfast conveniently located near home. The place has ample parking and is pretty spacious for breakfast-goers. They have a smattering of locals, early AM golfers and what appeared to be a bunch of regulars. We were seated immediately and given time to peruse the menu for what we wanted to eat. The beauty of the menu is that it offers traditional breakfast items such as omelets and meat/eggs/rice and also more local options with kobouta sausage, etc. We placed our orders and they came out in a timely fashion considering how busy the place was. Service was excellent, the waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back!

What a great experience… Always thought it was just a basic golf course with their own private lounge or something. But they have a bar and grill there, that serves some awesome breakfast. So we checked it out! Waitress had a lot of aloha & took very good care of all her customers. Food was quickly made, fresh and hot off the grill. I’d recommend loco moco on fried rice… ahhh Whaaaat!!! So Ono! Will come back again and tell everybody where to eat good food, at a reasonable price.

I been here total of 3 times and their food is very local style golf course meal. kimchee fried rice, chicken katsu, mochiko chicken, club house sandwich. it’s a good tasting food and it’s not expensive. the portion isn’t too small for the price. The service today was good and server brought me all the sauce plus the hot sauce. They were not rushing us to and it was nice to sit in the ac after long hot day at the golf course. if you like local food you should check out this place and they have specials everyday.

Been here many times in the past, the structure is the same only the names and menus have changed let’s see forgot what it was before Sakura but after there was Restaurant at Olomana and now It’s Larry’s Grill… I’m Sooo Confused… Oh well… Welcome Larry’s the new 19th hole at Olomana! The menu is typical of golf course chow influenced by Local Island favorites. Today we are dining on Kim chee fried rice, clubhouse sandwich, onion rings and a Pupu sausage platter. The food though nothing fancy tasted pretty good and the portions were copacetic. Prices were average. The breakfast menu is served all day. The service today ranged from good to not so good. The guy server who initially took our orders seemed a little apathetic and did not check if we needed refills, which we did. The lady server was a lot more friendly and made sure everything was going well and made sure are our beverages were filled. All in all … Just OK… Could be better. I’ll be back because of my many visits to this golf course and driving range. So stay posted… there are more stars to be earned.
