Yap’s Electric

Was forced to use them through American Home Shield as they are the only agents on Maui. They were absolutely terrible. Didn’t turn up twice even though they had made a firm appointment, then yelled and were abusive on the phone when I called to enquire why. They finally turned up and said they had done the job but they hadn’t and we needed them back within 24 hrs. They didn’t respond to AHS calls either so AHS had to contact their representative agent to contact Yap to see what was happening. After the 3^rd time this happened even my AHS agent was getting annoyed by Yap’s unprofessionalism! So, after 3 visits Yap still hadn’t solved the problem!!! I’m now paying an electrician independently to do the repair that Yap are incapable of doing. The company is a joke:
Q. How many Yap Electric employees does it take to mend a fan?
A. It doesn’t matter, they can’t!
