Mr found this great wave patterned OluKai slipper that we couldn’t leave behind. It was not my lucky day for shoes even though I tried on more than a few pairs
The salesperson had family in Germany & we had a wonderful time talking about Germany and soccer and things to do on the Big Island

We go to Waikoloa 3 – 4 times a year — we own a condo there — and just about everytime I go, I buy a pair of shoes here. I have never been disappointed in any of my purchases, and I always seem to find several things I love. Definitely a favorite store of mine!

My wife and I also went into this store without bringing a spoiled bratty little child to play with the lovely bags and other items in this wonderful store. We stopped in with no intention of buying anything, just killing some time before our dinner reservation at Roy’s. However, we were so blown away by the kindness, expertise, and patience of Deborah that we both ended up trying on numerous pairs and shoes and ended up spending more than $ 300. In my entire life, I have never ever had such excellent help from any shoe salesperson anyplace. Both of us are thrilled with our purchases and will certainly visit this store again on our next trip to the Big Island. We also had the pleasure of getting to know the manager, Dee, and then understood why this store is such a great place to look and shop. I hope everyone will ignore the unfair 1-​star rating that was posted by the woman who thinks it’s OK to let her poorly behaved child play with the inventory while she looks at shoes. This store is a class act.

I didn’t take a bratty spoilt kid into the shop and had a completely different experience. The saleswoman was chatty and friendly and let me try on Lindsay-​Phillips switchflops for a half an hour. I’m sure she was thinking that I’d probably go through all that and not buy anything, but I bought 3 pair — one for my daughter-​in-​law, one for a friend, and one for myself — and a bunch of switchflops tops to go with them.

Very rude salespeople at the location at the Kings’ Shops in the Waikoloa resort area. While I was trying on a $ 100 pair of shoes, the salesman told my husband to «discipline» our two-​year-​old daughter because she picked up a purse. It was made of metal. How much damage could she do picking up a metal purse? I took off the shoes I had intended to purchase and we left. It appears Walking in Paradise does not understand the spirit of Aloha.
