Best place for lunch in the food court and maybe in the whole shops. Well priced for lunch specials. Ever dish is really unique. The wait staff on r other hand is usually really bad. It may take a while to get your order and they tend to be out of items especially there side items and desserts. Even with that said. It will be a better meal than Romano’s sanseis or subway.

This food was tasty, nicely priced, convenient, and the staff were willing to make small changes(ad more tofu, make the edmame a little less spicy for the kids, etc.) It takes 15 minutes or so for the food to be ready, because it’s nice and fresh so worth the wait! Order to go and watch the hula performances in the evening :) Edamame was reallky great, and the tofu yakisoba was well spiced.

Surprisingly decent for a food court. Head and shoulders above the other choices available but definitely not the cheapest option. Good enough if you don’t wish to drive more than a few miles.

We just ate at dinner Lemongrass Express located at the Queen’s Shops. You have to eat here! Healthy choices, fast service, beautifully presented in colorful vegetables and tender meats and plump shrimp. This understated location was our biggest culinary surprise yet. First of all, they have an expansive menu. There is a colorful photo of every meal. We chose the Beef Sambal, Shrimp Summer Roll, Ahi Poke Wrap and the Shrimp Vermicelli. With the exception of the summer rolls, all three meals came out on larger oval plate making this dinner an amazing value. The portion sizes were huge. Each meal a perfect 10. I recommend this restaurant. I am glad I did not read the previously negative ratings first. I do not agree at all.

The noodle soups were too salty. Service is slow. They people in the kitchen don’t seem to know what their doing. The noodle soup togo was a nightmare trying to fit the noodle in the Togo bowl. They didn’t leave any room for the noodle! We’re never gonna come back!

Super duper salty chicken lettuce wraps. I kept trying to think of ways to cut the salt, but I just ended up laboring through it. Pretty presentation and great portion though. I sat at the bar and couldn’t help but notice they store their milk unrefrigerated. I thought the lady just overlooked putting it away, but sure as day, she kept going for it and putting it back on the bottom shelf of the counter. I didn’t order a thai tea because I was scared…

Started coming back here after I heard they Hired Chef Donnie. Everything he puts out of the kitchen is top notch. I’ve come about 5 times in the last month for the $ 12 lunch special. I’ve tried 5 different specials, and loved them all. Great food. Fast service. Can take some time to get your check if the take out line fills up, but what’s the rush? Would recommend this place to anyone who loves Asian fusion.

Lemongrass Express is one of the better options in the Waikoloa Food Court, and if you’re craving a bit of Asian fusion you’ll surely be satisfied whether it’s Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or any of the above with some local flair. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? While you’re in a food court, Lemongrass Express is without a doubt the most restaurant-y of your options, with a proper dedicated seating arrangement both indoors and out. You can choose to order at the counter or be served, and the food comes out relatively quickly. Of note is that the credit card machines go down somewhat frequently, so don’t be surprised if you find it’s suddenly cash only(this applies to the entire food court). My servers across the board were friendly, and while they botched the vegetarian part of an order it was made right quickly. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? You’re in Hawaii around resorts, so value is something that’s going to be a rarity. While Lemongrass isn’t cheap, it’s also not over the top expensive, and my Chicken Yakisoba lunch portion of reasonable size was a very reasonable $ 12.00, with the rest of the menu being priced accordingly so long as you catch the lunch hours. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? In that Lemongrass Express doesn’t particularly specialize in one particular sub-genre of Asian cuisine, nothing that my party ordered blew me away, but my Chicken Yakisoba wasn’t bad. The noodles were well cooked although clumpy in places, and the peripherals like chopped veggies were nothing special, but I didn’t not like it. There’s room for improvement with less sauce and a bit more chicken, but all in all I enjoyed the dish. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Lemongrass Express is a decent option if you don’t want to visit a nearby chain, but I wouldn’t say it’s anything beyond A-OK, which is in my book the definition of three stars. No Star Granted.

Tried to find a place nearby our hotel to eat upon arriving to the big island. Was extremely disappointed in the food and the service. Ordered: Chicken wings: the picture looked like regular chicken wings but it was more like tempura battered. The tempura was extremely oily and when you got to the chicken it just tasted like boiled chicken. They didn’t season the chicken before battering it at all Macadamia crusted tofu: this was a good dish. The outside was crispy and inside was soft and it had a good peanut sauce to it Garlic shrimp fried rice: I was excited for this. The description said it was skin on with a garlic sauce to the shrimp. The dish itself didn’t have any garlic whatsoever and the shrimp had the skin off and tasted boiled. The fried rice was just mostly onions. It was so bland we had to ask for hot sauce to make it somewhat edible Service was extremely slow. Took forever to get anyone’s attention I’m not sure how it got so many reviews. But I would definitely not come back

I have eaten here a few times. I can’t say that I am «WOW» at this place. Price is way up the top. I had oxtails noodle soup the last time when I was there. I decided to sit at the bar. Accidentally I saw the man in the kitchen poured the oxtails soup from a styrofoam cup onto the serving bowl. Really? Is this how a restaurant heat up our food? I was so disgusted by that. No going to recommend this place.

This is a fine place to get your dinner for a reasonable price, still very high prices for average Asian food. I ordered the shrimp summer rolls and pad Thai, fairly basic, and my total was almost $ 30. It tasted good, I was satisfied, but there wasn’t much shrimp considering what I paid. The service was friendly, but it seemed to decline when the manager went to the back. It takes awhile to get your food, which is fine, but in my opinion there are better places in the Queens Market.

My meal was great I like the chicken yakisoba here However, when it comes to being professional… I don’t think being on your iPad at work and skimming through your Facebook. Not a good look. That’s the downer I have here

Lemongrass Express is expenssiiiiivvve. Immediate impression was serious snottiness at the register — maybe it was a bad night for them, who knows. But then to ring us up for two entrees, at an «express» restaurant, at $ 40 — that was what really blew us away! Don’t get me wrong, the food is made of high quality ingredients… but one of those was yakisoba which had unseasoned chicken peppered in with a massive amount of noodles. I love noodles, but there is no dish from a Pei Wei comparable restaurant that is worth nearly $ 18. If I were to come back, I’d stick with the orange chicken for sure because at least you’re getting more of your money’s worth here.

Located inside the food court at the Queen’s Market. Everything here at Waikoloa is pricier than lets say Hilo area, but this place offers decent food. They only have small area to eat and they didn’t recommend eating at their patio as they don’t have any shade. As they recommended, order food to go and eat outside with nice picnic tables and chairs with umbrella for nice shade. Nice breeze cool air will keep you nice and cool. They were busy and service was slow. Their friendly smiles were nice. After all we are all here on vacation, just enjoy good weather. Food was decent. It all tasted like what they were supposed to taste. Oxtail fried rice was good, oxtail provided nice flavor to rice and spicy Kimuchi complimented the oxtail. Boba was good, I had both iced coffee and jasmine green tea, I think I liked jasmine green tea better. Ahi poke had nice slightly spicy flavor to it and they were served in salad and was good to eat vegetables. Orange chicken and Singapore udon were just okay, good but nothing special. Serving portion was large, and nice to share with friends and family.

Nice presentation, rich flavors. We had the garlic sambal beef salad, which I enjoyed and the tofu pad thai, which was above averrage. Portions were on the smaller side as my wife had to grab a cup of clam chowder at the market to tide her over for the evening. The prices were somewhat high. Service was quite slow which was rather hard with a toddler, and diminished our overall experience. The party of 6 in front of us wisely ordered takeout and simply ate at the food court a few steps away, finishing their meal as we hadn’t even been served yet. The owner explained that it was due to another party who also ordered in front of us that led to the slowdown. That happens.

Went here for lunch because it was rated high. Pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere: In a food court. Small seating and bar area. Nothing spectacular. Service: decent service. Food: Ordered the Beef Sambal which was great! Full of flavor topped with rice strings. Friends ordered some less than good dishes like the fried rice and chicken. Good food especially given other options.

A food court gem: some the best food I’ve eaten from a food court The chicken lettuce wrap and shrimp are Ono. seasoned and executed to perfection. Definitely was a trip to Flavor-Town Was disappointed the second time to find they didn’t have the Garlic Sambal beef so I picked a beef & shrimp plate instead. Didn’t realize understand how I was able to get beef from another dish but not the Garlic beef unless it is marinated overnight. So many things to try off the menu but I plan on returning to hit my food bucket list off Lemongrass
