Visiting from out of state and used this service for a few date nights. The process was very easy and Kathy gave us an excellent description of our sitter. We had Priscilla and she was so sweet and kind and made us feel secure and safe to leave our daughters with her. She made leis with our daughter and treated her like she was her own granddaughter! I wish we had Priscilla in our home town! I would Definately recommend this service and nannies!

Beware of this so-​called agency, which literally ruined our vacation. We have been using babysitting agencies in Hawaii for years and never had a problem. We found this agency online and booked a babysitter for our vacation a week in advance for four days. Kathy, who runs the agency, spoke to us several times on the phone and both confirmed the booking with me and charged us a fee in advance on our credit card. The babysitter was supposed to meet us at our hotel. She never showed up. I called the babysitter and she texted me a half hour later. First she stated that she «mixed up my dates and actually booked myself for another job» and then stated that she «has a mandatory meeting» to attend for her job. She clearly couldn’t get her story straight, other than to say that she was at the other end of the island and wouldn’t be coming to babysit. I also phoned Kathy at the agency and she took more than an hour and a half to return my two messages on her voicemail, which is completely inexcusable for an agency that should always be available to its clients. This is what agencies get paid for — reliability and efficiency, none of which this agency has. She stated that she was at lunch and actually tried to blame the situation on me, saying that we should have called the babysitter to confirm ourselves, which is simply ignorant and unprofessional, needless to say something that she never told us to do. I asked if they confirm the people they book and she replied «we don’t have to.» And she never phoned or emailed to apologize… and then sent the babysitter back to our hotel the following day after I told her we were canceling the rest of the week. Unbelievable. There are lots of great babysitting agencies in Hawaii. Not this one.

This is an excellent company. They have a strict hiring policy and only want the best sitters out there.

One day before an important event, I found out my regular babysitter was not available, so I posted the job on
. By that evening two sitters had applied for the job. They both looked good, but I called Emmalani first. She answered her phone, answered all of my questions, and asked me questions about my child and what I would be needing from her. Even though it was last minute (late evening the day before the job), I told her I would feel more comfortable if I could talk to a reference. So she called around and found a reference who was still up and would answer the phone when I called. The reference had great things to say about her, so I felt confident having her watch my son. We went back and forth a couple more times to confirm time and location, and she was very responsive and clear in her communication.
The next day, she showed up right on time for the job. She brought something special and educational for my son, which he loved and talked about for days afterward! I was really impressed with how professional she was and how she connected with my son and struck up a conversation with him right away. Afterward he told me how he really enjoyed his evening with her and wants her to babysit him again!

From personal experience I would like to comment on the professionalism and experience that Keiki Sitters and Ohana Helpers manifest in the execution of their important responsibilities in taking care of the many children they encounter on a weekly basis. I’m extremely impressed with their fine manner of organizing and carrying out of their respective duties, week in and week out.
Their attention to detail is nothing less than top notch and they should be considered «Experienced & Skilled» in the performance of their contracts they have with the U.S. Military as well as other families they interact with regularly.
I would not hesitate to hire them at any time to watch my children or grandchildren. Of course, seeing is believing so when you have the opportunity, give them a try. You won’t be sorry.
